I got on th road at 15 ,, Thats a looong time ago n I traveled most of that time .. in the last 8 years Ive been around this world 6 times .. not a single untruth . And intend to travel again one day up the track ,, But traveling is very informative n an education on its own , I am Australian n here I feel is one of the dearest most expensive places compared to many Ive been in .. Ive had to travel a lot being a writer over time n my work etc . But if I told you how many times Ive moved you think I was full of it lol IM NOT .lol
Geez... I figured this out once... over my lifetime, I average 3 years in one place. Not complaining. It's interesting and exciting. At this point, I'm not even sure whether I could stay put.
I have move 4 times in my life, and getting ready to move again Nov. 10th lol but that is just a block up the road, does that count? The condo that I first look at is now ready and I'm so excited, just hope I get it all done before the holidays.

I was born where i live and then stayed to look after my gran when she died, I married and went on to have 8 kids. So there has been no reason for me to move.....
3 times in Scotland by the time I was 5, than to the USA... as a child 8 times within California than another 4 times as an "adult" in CA then to Maine and back to CA another 6 moves in CA then 3 years of backpacking moving every week to month... and then back to Scotland 3 moves in 5 months and then to Ibiza... 10 moves in 6 years... I think I´ll settle for a while in the studio I moved into last May... set right on the sea with beautiful view and I get to go to sleep to the soft sounds of the sea on my doorstep...
4 different states & an island; 18 different cities; 38 different houses, not including an original log cabin, a tent, a tarp, an underpass, the back seat of my car, a shrimp boat, the ground beneath my feet…
I have lived in 2 cities Mississippi, one in Alabama, one in Texas, one in Florida, two in Alaska, one in Michigan & four in California. Within those cities I had multiple homes sometimes. I didn't list my military deployments like Vietnam etc.
