we all lie....and if you say you don't lie .....liar....

its something i could never do. it shows a lack of integrity!

i said to posh just the other night if becks finds out about us ther'll be hell to pay what with him being in italy and all!
she said dont worry honey ill just tell him straight, i'll say "sorry david, jimmyl is the one for me! i so admire his rugged good looks and his honesty"

i said "come here babe and give me a cuddle, oh get me a can out of the fridge while your on your feet"

I don't lie, I don't really understand it. I have 3 kids, they ALL lie all the time... Reason:
1. Avoid blame for their actions
2. Get what they want
3. Make themselves look better than the others
4. Get revenge on another

I think that's about it.

Not to say that I have never lied or never will, but as a general rule I think honesty is the best policy. I do have a SERIOUS problem with people who say they will do something and don't follow through which to me is a form of lying and people who make crap up just for the hell of it. Why? I don't get that. I think it's a self esteem issue, you don't feel good enough as who you are so you lie to make yourself sound better so maybe people will like you, but it's a vicious circle because the reason people don't like you is because you are a liar. I have a friend who is very rude, in your face and will talk crap about everyone, but at least she does it to your face and that I can respect.

A lot of people lie to cover up something they did wrong!! They are afraid to face the truth.. or they maybe living out a fantasy. Who knows!

Everyone lies from small white lies to lying their whole life, but i believe to be a good liar you have to have a great memory.Unfortunately one man in particular i met recently underestimated his wife and she checked his phone to find out that he was nothin but a cheating liar!!!and very kindly informed me aswell

Well, the bottom line is fairly obvious: people lie because they think it confers some advantage. That's when they know they're lying, of course. Perhaps our deepest lies are the untruths we've chosen to believe about ourselves. Probably, again, because we think that confers some form of advantage to us.

I lied about lieing to myself as I told myself that I was not lieing so is that a lie or is it lieing about lieing as I am telling the truth....I am so confused....
