Many years ago my mother use to love this song and honestly I never thought it would relate to me at all but we can't stop the relentless marching of time. I have become my mother in so many ways and now when I hear this song I can't deny it's no longer about her but, it is about me.

Northof7: We are working on a large get together up here for all CS members. If we have the field party, maybe I will sing a few tunes and we can video tape it and send it to you.
Well I won't back down No I won't back down You can stand me up at the gates of hell But I won't back down
No I'll stand my ground, won't be turned around And I'll keep this world from draggin me down gonna stand my ground ... and I won't back down
Chorus: (I won't back down...) Hey baby, there ain't no easy way out (and I won't back down...) hey I will stand my ground and I won't back down
Well I know what's right, I got just one life in a world that keeps on pushin me around but I'll stand my ground ...and I won't back down

lion131: have you ever heard a song and think to yourself that it sums up your life perfectly?i suppose 'i need love' by elton john is appropriate for me
Tapestry by Carole King and Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin..not for the implication of drugs which is what Stairway was written about though for me it was a metaphor for the journey to enlightenment which to me is heaven. Not purchased with money though purchased by listening to my intuition. Have a good daynight everyone..

There's a couple--maybe "Heart Of Gold" (Neil Young) Moon River (?) "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" (Elton John) "Loch Lomond" (trad. Scot) just a few for starters
