Albertaghost: Most poll companies take polls and sell them to news organizations. If they are biased or are unscientific they are worthless. It is about genuine information, not achieving a predetermined result as both the polling company and the news organization would care less, they just want to sell papers.
NO ITS ABOUT MONEY $$$$$$$$$ IAM PAYINY MONEY IF YOU WANT REPEAT BUSINESS
relaxy: to the people who still thinl of the inside job...this is really insane...
what about the one in Madrid? ..and in London?...
They were all inside jobs. GWB had clones made. Like the NKorean leader.
They would travel around...calling back to the White House via secure phone lines...."Ah....GWB JR.....we have another target for your approval. This bus in London had a negative GWB political commercial on its side. The prefect target. This train in Madrid has a anti Iraq war message in a compartment. Another prefect target."
Then GWB would contact the local Islamic cells that the Amercan people were funding via CIA black op funds. They would do the attack. Then when caught they took a memory erasing tab, to protect GWB and the American ops.

Don't give the Truthers any ideas! This might be the next Version of what took place when their next set of Insanities is debunked!
GWB was a good man I may not have agreed with all of his policies, but he was a man driven to do what was best for America---and to make a name for himself in the Bush family.
He had nothing to do with 9-11.
Cheney, Wolfowitz, and Rumsfeld---and some other entities that I won't name---they knew it was coming and did nothing to stop the attacks. Cheney is pure evil imo...

FDR knew something like Pearl Harbor was coming too,but the real Dilemma is where and when!

When it's 3rd and 15, it's not hard to figure out that you're going to have to defend against a pass. You just don't know the receiver, the route or the play. So preventing it from being successful is easier said than done.

The term is "actionable intelligence". Else you are chasing your tail.
The best piece of intell that DoD had to the coming Pearl Harbor attack? Was that the Japanese had modified their airborne torpedo with a wooded fin to keep it from bottoming out in the shallow Pearl Harbor waters.
DoD learned that the Japanese Navy had bought 100s of these modification kits several months prior to the attack on Dec. 7th.
ttom500: No, am saying that they had limited information on the abilities and intent of the Japanese. Taking the development of the wooden fin for their torpedo to a attack on Pearl would have been stretching many a imagination in the Pentagon.
Japan was in a conflict in China. So the development could have been for a military operation there.
I have studied the period a fair amount. That piece of technology was critical to the Pearl Harbor attack. Without it, the Japanese could not make the torpedo attacks inside the shallow harbor. The report that spy gave them was a discription of the device...not even a name or purpose. He was working near a factory were they were made. He did not what it was, when he saw them being readied for shipping.
It would have taken more than a Sherlocke Holmes to connect the dots between the device and the Pearl attack. They did not have the CAD design systems of today or the computer analysis tools to connect the dots here. They were not watching all the fleet movement of the Japanese Navy by Satellite imagery. Nor recording and reading the all the coded Japanese radio comm of the time. So they were basically in the dark.
As for the fleet deployments. They were pretty loose back then...by that I mean..it was peace time. Putting to sea one day or the next was not a big deal. They did not have critical mission deployments to go on. So it mattered little when a fleet group put to sea or when the exercise was done. The heavy gun fleet mostly did target practice. The carrier fleet did aircraft launch and recovery exercises.
One thing is for sure....after Pearl it tightened up a whole lot. Just read Ambros book "Pacific". They had pilots with 350 hours of flight time. Very little. Straight out pilot training. Would fly to the carrier from Pearl....land make six carrier take offs and landings...to be carrier qualified.....then were flying in battle at Midway. He scored two hits on a Japanese carrier with his dive bomber. With a pucker factor of 10+. As I said it got a whole lot tighter....
I gotcha. Just wasn't sure what you meant at first.
You let me down Aspen! I was hoping for more spicy stuff on your take on Pearl Harbor! What's wrong, not enough spicy conspiracies on the internet to inspire you?

MOLTEN STEEL!!!!1111
He probably doesn't know much about it,so he has to concoct a Conspiracy Theory first! That takes time!
aspen12: I JUST SAID YOU CANT RUN A WAR WITH NO FUEL AMERICANS SEEN TO THAT.ITS NOT A PEAR HARBOUR THREAD IT ABOUT TWINN TOWER LIE
But according to FOX ORielly on the View yesterday....it would have been 'Japanese Extremist' that bombed Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7th. Assuming that the political correct definition for 911....it a 'Extremist Islamic' attack on America.
One way or another....we got to get the word "extremist" into the picture here. For liberal sensitivities.
With out the word 'extremist', liberals cannot say....extreme right acts of violence are just as bad 911. They cannot say Timothy McViegh, a extreme right wing fanatic bombed the Oklamahoma Federal Building. They cannot say that a group of right wing extemeist did xy or z.
So to scratch the words 'extremist and extreme' from the 911 issue is a defeat of semantics for liberals. Without semantics, liberals loose all the fun of the debate. Because let us face after semantics, they got little to offer often.
When OReilly took the words 'extremist Islamic'....from the View show of the other day and said "Muslim on 911 killed us"....Whoppie and Beyhard were gone. They had nothing more to offer. They fled the taping and pouted like two little children in back. All over this missing word 'extremists'...that has to be use in their definition of the event of 911.
How do we know bin Laden is a extremist? He seems pretty collected when he does a video tape. Most of the extremist, I know are ranting and raving lunatic types. (I will not mention names to protect them). Maybe bin Laden is a middle of the road Muslim that found himself with a small army. And had to use it one day.
For liberals and 911 truthers.....911 was the day that semantic became more important that real life. When a single word could define the deaths of 3000. And to paint the event any other way that how they saw it, made you a...........extremist.
