I think its all about "Ratings" meaning "money". Fox news has found talent that knows what Americans want to hear and they (including Beck) deliver.
Follow the money, Beck: TV & Radio shows, book sales, gold sales etc.
I admire Beck for being as vocal about his passion(s) but I wonder if he's given credit where due for some of the material he's used; i.e., the bowling frog story/scene when P.E.T.A. got upset. I recall the late Aaron Russo using the same story early in this century.

I know the question is for Trish but, I reckon the banking collapse and the fact Governments tried to hush it until they realised the extent of the problem and the slow realisation of the American public of just how much the balance of payments is (also in most developed countries) has had a serious effect and folk are looking at the future in a different light. As always JMO..Can you give us more information about why you believe that conservatism is dying? Just asking my friend.

I dont simply believe, I have researched, it isnt a guess, its an educated opinion......... conservatism is dying as education catches on.... its inevitable - the masses have their own survival at heart and we will only tolerate domination for so long.....

i have done hospice care for years and my experience has been that as people age and approach death they become quite peaceful with understanding that things werent as rigid as they thought and they become more open and sharing
few become fear based and greedy
also a weird thing is that glenn beck was sensible and then began a complete personality change and found notariety.
i see it as a loss- i enjoyed him and i also find it scary-
its been like a 180 degree change- thats usually called a psychotic break
