Hi there Sol.
I got ripped to shreds on a now locked thread for stating the obvious in a polite fashion. Some people are so angry with their own lives,they feel it necessary to try to upset the balance of others unfortunately.
Did it bother me? No, because I know who I am and why I am here,though the O.P. seemed to think she knew me better. Ah well another day on C.S. All in good fun.

And good on you BB...people that are safe in their own sense of worth do not need the validation of strangers, personally I prefer folk with a sense of self rather than wishy washy characters that follow the pack!

Think before you type and avoid specious arguments, vacuous platitudes, irrational drivel and absurd hyperbole and no one can make you look stupid. The most honest people are those that reason well, for the most part, because you're much less likely to feel the need to deceive yourself or others if your thoughts are well-reasoned.
There are cliques, of course, and always will be. It's human nature. But there's really nothing to worry about from "pack attacks". This is politics and politics isn't all sunshine and lollipops because all our lives are affected by it and what's good for me may not be good for you. So the trick is to not take yourself too seriously. And to remember this is not a political site where people talk about dating. It's a dating site where people talk about politics.

Sometimes people post such absurd or volotile posts that any sane rational person would take exception to them..Why then, just because 99% of people disagree is it classed as a pack attack?
I have friends here that I may disagree with on numerous points, but they remain friends because I respect them as the truly good people they are..friendship does not in my mind equate with agreeing on every point..........sometimes discussion is healthy and can make you see things from a different perspective.

That, on its own is not a pack attack to me. I suppose its people's perceptions and we all differ. I do know its an easy defense mechanism for some people
One example to me, its when people start to attack the poster, in numbers, instead of questioning their stance/argument because it differs to their stance or belief. Too many times I have seen it where
are used in response to a valid point. Some people think the more they post, no matter what it is, the better argument they have and think they are 'winning'.People join in for whatever reason, maybe to get a laugh or to ally themselves with a particular poster. Attacking the poster and insulting them is easy, but people forget there are real people behind the screen with real feelings.Im good ta
