Steel toe work boots...

Imp, for years I wore non steel toe work boots. Comfortable and supportive, they were on my feet usually from 7am to 9pm.
The manufacturer discontinued that style and I've tried at least 10 other styles and couldn't get the same comfort.
They had eyelets all the way up and the new styles have the 2 top holes with hooks that snag my pants legs and shred the bottoms.

Steel toe work boots...

RED, I'm mixed with the fashion of miniskirts and high top boots. The photos I've seen are often 'Gothic' in appearance.

RE: Apologies

Catfoot, thanks for posting this blog and allowing me to ask a question to one of your commenters. No apology necessary !!

laugh

RE: Apologies

Merc, how would the other person know you gossiped behind their back?
That is, if the person you were gossiping with didn't leak your information, how would the first party know?

Steel toe work boots...

Fay, I'm told the boots must be steel toe to qualify as a business deduction.
What I would contest is a waitress/waiter wearing specially made shoes (as they are on their feet for many hours) would be allowed... then I say the steel toe requirement should also apply here!

"If you aren't searching - then you can block all countries/all age and enjoy blogging undisturbed. Let people who search for a date deal with the people who contact them themselves!"

Since you aren't searching, I suggest you heed your own advice.

For the record, I've been thanked by CS staff for reporting bogus profiles.

No red flags...

Will stick to not reading Chat's blogs so I don't ask inappropriate questions again.

I guess welcoming you to my blog now isn't appropriate.
No need to throw out a negative comment. Avoiding my blogs would have been sufficient.

I did see your comments on another blog complaining how hard it is to meet someone online.
Admitting that you gave up on meeting someone online.
You're not the only one with this disposition on CS.

To sum things up...
If half of the women on this (or any other) dating site for that matter are not date worthy, not looking, not available... than your purpose on a dating site is what?

RE: What do you do when your doctor tells you you have 2 maybe 3 days to live.

The Twilight Zone...

No red flags...

I've known Fay for many years before our CS existence.

Helter Skelter...

THE WHO - I Can See For Miles (1969)

Helter Skelter...

Rooftop concert...

No red flags...

Actually, they are partly gone... appearing on likes and messages in a lighter version but not on the new members listing.

Biscotti...

Lucy, that sound great! some of the bakeries at the health food stores sell them by the pound. Typically, they are more expensive than beef.

Biscotti...

Fay, does he like the ones dipped in chocolate?

The Condo...

I met another neighbor...
Mid 70's and works part-time at a retail store. Not that he needs the money, it's his way of not going crazy from boredom!

Biscotti...

But, I'm more into fruit pies and/or ice cream.

Oh, I agree... why stop there!

RE: "IN SEARCH OF WENNY"

nam, it's good that you asked the staff/moderators for some assistance.

Let's say he's not in a position to log on here... being realistic and thinking the worst, some friend or family is monitoring his email and if someone from CS sends him a message, hopefully they or he replies you will get the update you're looking for. If they they send the message marked read or return receipt, they will know that someone actually received their message.

Although I haven't said anything, his absence has crossed my mind a few times.

I'm sure that everyone who responded to your blog wishes him the best!

No Fay, the staff announced the site would be down about 90 minutes last night.
I had a nap when I got home from work and was online really late.
My accountant sent over some quarterly reports before midnight and I reviewed them and did some research online checking CS from time to time.
The site appeared to be working normal and it was around 2am when it went offline only for a short time.

Tapping fingers...

We did good. Only offline for about 15 minutes at 2am Eastern Daylight Time.

RE: What do you do when your doctor tells you you have 2 maybe 3 days to live.

If I read your blog correctly and having played music professionally, I've always been concerned about hearing loss. I've read about people who had had inner ear infections so bad they lost their hearing... totally and the lucky ones have partial hearing loss.

z... best to you and I hope this health issue passes quickly.
Thanks for the biff update. What a great friend to have so close to you!

RE: Mar a Lago crisis.

I've got some dirt on Hilary, can we meet?

RE: Mar a Lago crisis.

"But then, even Trump was shocked that he got elected. The whole thing was merely a publicity stunt by him..."

I heard there is a video of him and his team saying "Next time we will do it right."

RE: Mar a Lago crisis.

Sticking to the topic of the blog... while it's satire, there is some truth to H-2B visas the club applied for. Also, they stifled the undocumented worker who risked coming forward to complain about the conditions there.

Until the 'newness' wears off...

Nice2, I get that too. One 'like' and a minute later the profile has been deleted.

RE: What an average person can do to slow down out of control Global Warming

You can add a motion detector to your lamp post lighting so the bright light only comes on when someone is near. I suggest adding some inexpensive LED stick lights along the path so you can see where you are if you are out of range of the motion detector.

RE: Gardening

We were doing good with granular fertilizer. We switched to something 'natural' and the bugs that came with it ate up our vegetables!

very mad

Jowls...

molly, understood. People age at different rates and though I was born with 'bedroom eyes' it's something I always thought about having corrected.
Sometimes the dark circles under my eyes were from food allergies, sometimes from too much sleep, sometimes from too little sleep.

Jowls...

Have you tried face yoga?
No, but I've tried face yogurt. Different results... yes?
laugh

Until the 'newness' wears off...

fiorenza, yes... very happy.
In the time it took for me to go to Home DEpot and buy 5 gallons of paint, she moved from Miami to San Fransisco!
