Tong Hua is the song title an that translates to Fairy Tale. The version I wanted to post isn't on YouTube anymore. Basically, it's a love/friendship story about a boy and girl. The the girl is taking her frustrations out on the boy and he remains steadfast to the relationship. She notices her hair is falling out (he sees it too but doesn't let on about knowing) and the girl visits her doctor to find out she's got a disease (like cancer or leukemia) and goes to the hospital for treatment. The boy knows it's radiation/chemotherapy for her and she will lose all her hair. He decides to shave his head and visits her in the hospital. That version of the video ends with her alive. Other versions has the girl dying.
Great melody and covered dozens of times in different languages.
Fay, a pandemic stay-home order is not being semi-retired. My goal is to earn as much as I can so I can really retire. Not that I planned this but my actions involve 2.
I'm sure I start a new job tomorrow. My boss is one of the owners and I explained (before he agreed to hire me) I'll have to schedule a few meetings in order to secure commissions on the jobs I started.
Bonamassa on Rory Gallagher's Stratocaster at the Royal Albert Hall. There is another version with Joe playing a Les Paul that has more solo ad-lib and better dynamics but I like this one for the raw feel.
Jim in order to collect my commissions in full, I need to see the completion for each project. If I pass anything to the owner, there is a good chance I'll have to negotiate a lower cut.
Loh, I'd say they were both at fault. That airfield was large enough for them to be away from each other. The guy on the left (with the straw hat) was the airplane pilot. The 2 guys on the right had the helicopter. They were student & pilot, connected by the 'buddy-box' cord. The helicopter was inverted, probably doing a loop maneuver. Rules vary from club to club but a spotter for the airplane possibly could have avoided the accident.
Fay, yeah I agree. I'm told he's been in a few confrontations with other members.
While I was setting up a young woman asked about the SUV in the no parking zone as she's seen the sheriff write tickets for parking there. He said it was his vehicle and he's got a handicap sticker so it's all right. She shrugged her shoulders and walked away.
Fay, the blog before me was 66,665 and the blog after me was 66,667 so it was no big deal. Not like I flashed some demonic phrases and conjured of a hail storm.
Posted on a sign when you enter and all the bulletin boards is the reminder that it's a NO PET COMMUNITY
I'd guess more than 5% of the residents have dogs. One woman in my building is seasonal and cannot control her small dog from barking usually at 6am when he wants to go for a walk. Hopefully, she will 'go back north' soon.
I heard they have doctors notes allowing them a 'support dog' and medically necessary.
Yes, she would accept a pet. I don't want the burden. Cats are allowed only if they are inside and not allowed to wander.
I often typo the you / your too. Good thing I talk that way!
Cat adoption? Not in my future. The animal cannot be allowed to run free around my condo... specific rules against that. Maybe in other places a 'community cat' is allowed and the residents all take turns feeding and caring.
miclee Chat - They aren't bird brained idiots - They know when they got a good thing goin'
I worked for a guy who was building a house on a half acre of land. His hobby was raising birds and converted a trailer to hold them. Probably 50 birds in total. Lots of small ones and a few large ones. The African Grey was the meanest of the bunch and often bit the hand that feeds him, occasionally drawing blood.
Not nearly attractive as a Macaw. I couldn't see the point of keeping an 'angry bird' around.
I spoke to a association president about the cat. She told me not to feed the cat as it's against condo rules. I stopped last week. However, my neighbors are constantly feeding the cat by signs of uneaten food and containers around the stairs. That said, the cat will not attempt to find her way home now.
One neighbor complained and wants to know who the guilty party as someone is feeding the cat tuna on the 2nd floor - evidence of an open can by the stairs. The security cameras are focused across the stairs and into the courtyard. That person could be fined.
I phoned one county animal rescue center and emailed another waiting for a reply so I can transport the cat to be adopted.
Songs I don't get tired of hearing...
What country?
