Caracas' Macaws
Caracas (Venezuela's capital) is located in a valley, surrounded mostly by the "Cerro El Ávila"... It's also the home of over 400 macaws that fly freely and are adored by "Caraqueños" (Caracas' citizens)... These wonderful creatures visit hundreds of balconies every day to everyone's delight...Venezuela... My country... My home... My love...

I really like these parrots. They are very expensive here. Why I wont get one is for the simple reason that I cant give it enough of my time.
Where do these birds breed, in the suburbs or out in the wild? I mean these sitting on the trellis.
Always fun to hear of your beloved Venezuela from the country's Ambassador At Large.

They aren't bird brained idiots - They know when they got a good thing goin'.
I have two Amazon parrots and they both laugh like me... They are two very much loved little rascals that talk a lot!... One of them says: "Pototo", which was my way of calling him "Precioso" (Precious), the same way my father did, when he called it... So, to hear him saying it melts my heart every single time and is a sweet reminder of my father...
The only question remaining would be when to reply or not reply!...

I worked for a guy who was building a house on a half acre of land. His hobby was raising birds and converted a trailer to hold them. Probably 50 birds in total.
Lots of small ones and a few large ones. The African Grey was the meanest of the bunch and often bit the hand that feeds him, occasionally drawing blood.
Not nearly attractive as a Macaw. I couldn't see the point of keeping an 'angry bird' around.

No need to reply as reply has been noted. Anyhow you still have your parrots as they may not care if you reply to their caws
Also - It's Karmic ... A biting parrot get Bitten.
1) Filled up.
2) No longer bit by a biting parrot.
Art and I were walking through a small park in Fueringola and we saw a lot of green parrots ( or parakeets? ) flying around and making a lot of noise. They were probably setting for the night We could see them on top of the rows of palm trees that lined the park.
Didn’t take any pics of them, sadly. Only this pic of my Arty in that park coz he was my only muse that time
I’ve seen a lot of Indian fortune tellers with their pet parrots selling their wares in Little India in Malaysia and Singapore. I bet there are a lot of them in India but I’ve never been to India, unfortunately.
You can check them out on YouTube.
P.S. Hi, Mimi's Arty!... Greetings, from Venezuela!...
