Agreed, chrome doesn't have the longevity that other plating has. I remember how easy it was peeling the chrome plating off the bumpers of old cars.
I worked for a store fixture company who often had custom pieces made from iron/steel and sent out for plating. Part of that involved an acid bath to remove any contaminants. If they missed that process there would usually be spots in the finish where the chrome didn't stick to the metal.
FF, Dani was asking a question about a question and I supplied something from blog rule #6 that states "Do not direct questions to viewers."
So rather and assume Ben was asking a question, I'll go with the idea that Martial Arts was a complete blog title and "All kinds of martial arts karate judo Kung fu and all Bruce lee movies" could have been the start of a sentence but he got pulled away, perhaps to finish his Guinness.
I'm on the 'Do Not Call List' but that doesn't seem to work. Hesitant to press a (whatever) number the recording says to be removed as it may be an invitation they actually got a live person and added my number to other phone solicitors.
Jim a few years ago I did a kitchen for a dentist who was working on a deal with 6 other dentists. His plan was to buy the 'million dollar' digital lab equipment set it up in an office where all the dentists worked. They would have the ability to 3D scan and digitize, send the information directly to the lab where a technician would cut a porcelain crown in minutes.
No more waiting 2 or 3 weeks for the lab to process a physical mold and mail it back!
Jim, technically the plumber was working for me. He's an employee of the plumbing company we normally do business with. He wasn't part of the regular crew I've used in the past. Number not recognized and it was his fault for not leaving a message.
Lots of times I'm in client meetings and ignore calls unless I know who it is... and it's urgent to respond.
My voice messages get transcribed to readable text so I can glance over and see what the message is without stopping my meeting.
Ignoring calls is a double-edged sword. Two weeks ago I received the call that I didn't recognize the number. It happened to be the plumber working on one of my jobs and he needed specific information. I didn't answer, he didn't leave a message and called his boss who called me leaving a message. The whole episode lost about 15 minutes.
Jupiter being the largest and closest. I did see an animation showing their orbits and how they would pass each other. That was better than standing on a golf course guessing if it's what they were talking about!
