Cilantro Garlic...
Dinner tonight came by way of Pollo Tropical restaurant. They are a Miami Based company with dozens of location around south Florida serving Cuban style citrus marinated grilled chicken.
One of my favorites is their Cilantro Garlic sauce with lime juice. I've tried to find this product in the grocery store like Olive Garden... but no luck. Since COVID-19, they removed the drink and condiment stands so you have to ask and they will give out their sauces in tiny cups (with lids) so no one has gets to use the pump dispenser like the old' days.
I did ask if it's available in larger quantities and the cashier said, it's made fresh in each store and a large containers can be purchased.
$4.00 for a cup that's about 14 ounces. Deal!
No... I'm not addicted. I need more time for that.

Indeed, I sort of remember not liking it.
I do recall you mentioning that sauce (in the summer?).
Since my Asian daughter came into the family - I use a whole lot more ginger than I ever did before so I now also love ginger and garlic. This morning I made a ginger peach tea and it turned out very tasty.
I'm surprised your wife doesn't make your sauce from scratch. You can google any recipe.
I've researched and found totally different recipes online, all saying they were inspired by Pollo Tropical and all using different ingredients.
One has Cream cheese and milk versus sour cream.
The hold-back here is we don't have a food processor so I'm unable to get the same texture.
Side note: Fay, I've found that many Chinese avoid milk products.
Make it yourself from fresh. The chances are that's not happening in a chain restaurant, whatever sales pitch they give you.
Come to Tampa and I'll give you one if not tell Santa to bring one to your wife.
Fay, I've got a few days off at the end of the month.
Let's talk!
Prison food for you then, Chat.
Jack, I didn't consider that option. Unflavored Greek-style yogurt would be a better candidate than sour creme.
