"Does a passenger have to die..." I'll ask the question "Does a passenger have to die from a crazed passenger?" I thought charges for such behavior were more severe than misdemeanor battery.
Okay, the FAA should set a standard of training required by all airlines to deal with rage on an aircraft. Until then more duct tape should be available on each flight.
mic, she made a cameo appearance by being the first attempt to climb through the breached doors to the Speakers Lobby. Security pulled the trigger. Would it actually matter who the person was? I'm surprised she was the only one.
COVID-19 awareness didn't exist for most of people I encountered in Dayton. Very few guests in the hotel wore masks. Less than 10% of the people in shopping malls and grocery stores wore masks. Some restaurant workers wore masks, some didn't. That includes people preparing meals.
Mandated by the airline everyone was required to wear a mask. I didn't see any temperature checkpoints, no CDC or vaccination requirements.
My connecting flight to Florida encountered a technical difficulty (something about a missing seat cushion) and we were on the plane waiting to takeoff... delayed for 90 minutes.
3 weeks ago I was planning to purchase a small model helicopter and have it shipped directly to my brothers house so I would have something to fly while I was on vacation. Several people talked me out of the plan saying I wouldn't have time to fly.
The weather was perfect every day I was in Ohio and I stopped at the local hobby store to see what they have in stock. One of the models I had in mind to buy... except they didn't have any batteries and said they could have them on Monday. Too late, I told the guy... In future it would be a good idea to have batteries in stock for the model you are selling. His loss as I would have spent over $400 for the helicopter with a few spare batteries.
On Saturday evening, we walked around the block as my brother showed me some of the houses for sale. I think he's planning to buy one and give his current house to his son who grew up in that house. It would be a good idea to raise his 2 children there.
One of the things I hadn't seen on previous visits was a grassy common area about the size of 2 football fields end to end, literally across the street via a sidewalk between the neighbors. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! That could have been my personal flying field.
We're already talking about another vacation before the end of the year and bringing my models in a crate (I actually have one for this) so I can fly in between meals and visiting museums and shopping.
The corn was good and very different from the variety sold in Florida. Dinner at an Italian restaurant Thursday night Friday, we caught 3 small fish and returned them. Shopping at a gourmet market and dinner at my brothers. Saturday, lunch at a popular Chinese restaurant. 3 iMax movies in 3D Grilled steaks at my brothers.
Talk on a local radio morning show remembered how a cloudy-eye half blind feeble man he was at the trial and how he became clear-eyed fully aware of his surroundings when he was released. It's amazing how youthful he became in prison.
They said he's already planning to get back on the comedy circuit.
Duct-taped at 30,000 feet...
