While you represent about 10% of America and many are just above homeless. Most people are in the need for more communication. My brother is 75 and refused a cellphone for a generation. He goes for dialysis 3 times a week and is on a waiting list for a kidney transplant. He changed his mind when they said "someone else takes your place when we're unable to contact you in an emergency"
The best advice comes from a local hobby store. Unfortunately, online purchasing has killed off many businesses. Always choose a new model and not something marked for quick sale as parts availability drop off quickly.
You've been here before asking the question about finding a soulmate. People gave you advise and it appears you didn't accept much of the advice.
Start with one or two photos, preferred outdoors and a nice surrounding. Get someone to shoot the photo from a distance. Don't do a selfie.
Lots of paragraphs of who you are and want you want hasn't worked so far. Try the opposite. Say less and see if it betters your chances. For example: Great guy seeks a great girl. 30-55 living in Chicago area.
Occupation: retired (nothing more needs to be said)
Keep in mind, while new members join every week, most of the members here have been here for many years. Even a good fisherman has to change his bait if the fish aren't biting.
I've seen both sides of that. High degree in technology and programming, extreme qualifications and working here with a fantastic salary. The other side is someone struggling with the language and accepting a low position. The example is an architect licensed in their country coming to America and taking a job as a junior draftsman.
I started in model aircraft around 1975 when a coworker came in with a hobby magazine that covered a contest with model helicopters. My interest was only helicopters. I don't fly model airplanes. I did that for 15 years or so and lost interest after a car accident. Around 6 years ago, my ex gifted me a tiny drone and the radio control interest started again. Drones were a gateway drug to my real love for model helicopters. The obsession surpassed the hobby stage and now it's a sport with high performance machines that fly in excess of 130 miles per hour and weigh around 4kg.
Former President Donald Trump addressed the FBI's raid on his Mar-a-Lago resort at a Sunday rally in Arizona, making a series of misleading claims as he sought to portray the investigation as part of a plot against him. Trump baselessly claimed that other presidents, including Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush, had mishandled classified information yet faced no legal consequences.
One for personal, one for business, one for play. I have 1 laptop with W10 One notebook/tablet with W7 One netbook with W98 ? not sure.
When I left big a company as sales manager, I retired one computer running W7. It's got a licensed version of Office and a PDF program similar to Adobe. Actually, I should be using that one!
Yes... If it's not broken... don't (try to) fix it.
The one computer that stopped working 2 weeks ago had W10 PRO and linked to my office with sync. It was strictly for business and in an emergency I pulled out a retired computer with W7 PRO on it. It has an early I-7 processor, 8 gigs of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. The IT guy was surprised how quick it was, but only wants updated O/S's on the network, so I need to do an update... but not right now.
One minute into the video when interviewed and asked "Have you figured out who this woman is?" he gives a blink, hesitates and realizes he's got to lie to answer that question. Classic!
