Usually the alligators are small and non-aggressive. This one was longer than 10 feet and should have been relocated to the Everglades reserve, many miles from a residential area. They don't get to be that size 'overnight' so someone wasn't doing their job.
Sharks...? My daughter went to the beach on Sunday and sent me photos of a helicopter landing on the rear deck of a large ship. She included a video of a baby shark (about 4 feet long) less than 10 feet from the shoreline. Yeah, we got-um too!
When used as a food additive, amylase has E number E1100, and may be derived from pig pancreas or mold fungi. Bacilliary amylase is also used in clothing and dishwasher detergent...
Gigi, thanks for your comment. I'm able to research the 2 medicines you mentioned:
Bricanyl Turbuhaler contains the medicine terbutaline. Terbutaline belongs to the class of drugs called bronchodilators. Bronchodilators relax the muscles in your airways. This helps to open your airways, making it easier for you to breathe. BRICANYL TURBUHALER relieves sudden symptoms such as wheezing, cough and shortness of breath.
Giona Easyhaler is a corticosteroid or steroid (cortisone-like medicine). It works by preventing inflammation (swelling) in the lungs. It's used to help prevent the symptoms of asthma. When used regularly every day, inhaled Giona Easyhaler decreases the number and severity of asthma attacks. However, it will not relieve an asthma attack that has already started.
They appear to have the similar effects to the medicines prescribed for me... but I don't take them unless it's an emergency.
Also, there is an allergy/asthma medicine Singulair (montelukast) I have, I used it 2 years ago when my asthma was bad, but I'm not taking it now.
My allergies aren't too bad so I don't take anything specific. While doctors are prescribing lots of different ones, I generally avoid them because the side effects outweigh the benefits.
VENTOLIN HFA is the name brand for an albuterol inhaler.
Fluticasone is a steroid based nasal spray used to treat allergies. Any side effects?
When I had the respiratory infection, the Pulmonologist I went to prescribed TRELEGY that has fluticasone, umeclidinium and vilanterol. I only use that when I have severe asthma and it takes a few days to actually get things back to normal. The doctor thinks I should take it all the time, I only use it as needed.
The inspiration to my blog was a current bathroom project where the paint shop finished the wrong sides of a makeup area. The installer didn't notice it and did the installation anyway.
For me? No, it never was or will be. It's a diary for some, a place to mark important events, things of interest. Sometimes, I go back and read my old blogs to see if my opinions on a topic have changed. I'm unable to remember everything I've seen or read, so the review is satisfying to me.
This isn't a new topic. More than a year ago the CS moderator expressed they would like to see a different focus for blogs. My thoughts are ones that don't comply with their 'direction' are subject to deletion. Some of my blogs about an ex-president and his legal woes have disappeared into the night. Remember, we are only 'guests' here so the general definition of 'Freedom of Speech' doesn't apply.
Reread what I wrote: 20 years ago, I had a cardiologist who insisted I take medicine that slowed my heart rate to 60 or below.
I don't pay too much attention to my heart rate now. It's rarely lower than 59 and peaks around 88 when I moved furniture or do a brisk walk for 30 minutes.
I'm taking all different medicines than I was a year ago. Furosemide for water retention is much more effective than hydrochlorothiazide that I took for many years. My cholesterol is low and sugar under 125 if I avoid fruit drinks.
The automatic blood pressure monitor I got 4 years ago shows numbers much higher than my primary care doctor and cardiologist report to me. I'll check pressure before I go to an appointment and could read 140/84 with 59bpm They will tell me 121/79 60bpm and I say 'no way' please check it again. Same numbers. I plan to bring the machine on an appointment so we can check to see if my monitor is off. You know it's normal to get totally different readings during the day... especially if I've had 4 hours sleep and 2 large cups of coffee.
Christmas week, I filled my car with cabinet parts for a new kitchen and carried them up a flight of stains. I was fine until morning. Sciatic nerve pain was the worst I've experienced. Taking Tylenol and alternating with Aspirin my pressure was higher than normal and I completely stopped exercise.
I'm usually up at 7am doing design work most of the day. I'm going back to walking in the afternoon to reduce swelling in my ankles from sitting 10 hours at the computer.
Al things considered, my stress levels are low and my coworker cannot catch a quiet minute in his schedule. Lots of angry customers thinking they shouldn't have to wait for service. As a reference, I'm doing pretty good. It's the coworker I'm concerned about.
How it happened is all speculation. They could have returned to the truck with plans to go back out. If the rifle was behind the driver and the dog knocked it over it would be pointing at the passenger... high trajectory, but enough to strike him.
Kenya...
I'm seeing 10 to 15 percent of the new female members listed from Nairobi, Kenya.Suspicious? Yeah, I'm sure something isn't right.
