gal, keep up the good work...
A E D A... yeah?

Wealthy rock stars hoarding vintage instruments...

Agreed. I've been known to binge watch several episodes at a time and agree it's entirely staged. Notice how their 'called in experts' appear to arrive within seconds. Yes, they stop the cameras, but it just appears scripted, especially the interviews with the sellers after the transaction is completed.

I distrust the documentation about that guitar.
Today I saw another video of a white Stratocaster at auction claiming to be Jimi's and it sold for $180,000. I don't know how long ago the auction was. It's was on a Fender Stratocaster video.
Here's what I think:
The guitar was strung right-handed. Don't come to me and say it was played by Hendrix.
If Hendrix actually played it, he would need the strap button on the top side (when held left-handed) I stopped the video when it was removed from the case and there wasn't a hole where Hendrix would have moved the strap button.
Hendrix always removed the plastic cover on the back to access the springs on the vibrato system. That cover was intact.
Lastly... chips in the paint on the back (from a belt buckle) were created by a right-handed player and not someone who used it left-handed.

I'm left-handed and noticed these things right away.

For the reasons stated, documentation or not, I don't believe Hendrix really owned/played that guitar.

Joe Bonamassa "I buy the story, the instrument comes free."
This is a small part of Joe's collection.
His guitar amplifier hoarding is worse.

So much for freedom of speech and wonderful things on Twitter...

Actually, you do, otherwise you wouldn't go to every blog about Trump to say those people have TDS.

Musk's statement about restoring Trumps account is one of the main reasons for his decision to purchase Twitter....

Hmmm... maybe Elon Musk has TDS.

So much for freedom of speech and wonderful things on Twitter...

Oh... finally we agree on something! laugh

So much for freedom of speech and wonderful things on Twitter...

Did you forget how Trump cried when he was banned?
Did you forget all the excitement when Musk said he would buy Twitter and allow freedom of speech?

Maybe it's just 'selective' freedom of speech he is offering.

More amazing their value has more than doubled.

The rare card where he stole the Statue of Liberty's torch has jumped to $24,000.

RE: Tiktok banned on all new USA phones

US Government devices...

"The Senate passed legislation Wednesday evening to ban TikTok from US government devices, in a move designed to limit perceived information-security risks stemming from the social media app."

Puffing away...

I'm sure people have fallen over if they misuse them and I no longer see the 3 wheel version, probably unstable.
I wouldn't recommend trying to go down a flight of stairs with either !

Puffing away...

They appear to be a 4th generation of the original walker complete with seat for resting.
The 2nd generation had small wheels on the 2 front legs.
The 3rd generation had a 3-wheeler with hand brakes.

Isn't that what they say that just before someone is about to be executed?

Sometimes it pays to procrastinate...

I do both and found procrastination is an art, especially when you take a week to do a 10 minute task and 3 calls to customers to postpone the event!

I'm waiting for some views of the American landing, the flag and the junk that was left there.

TDS? Is that where you go around and comment to blogs that don't support your political orientation?

Looking into my crystal ball...

My dad is dead.

Looking into my crystal ball...

Ray, I'm surprised you said that.
This has to do with business dealings and not politics.

Buying MORE of things I already own...

Shortly before the sale, I had my house tented for termites and the exterminator gave me some clear plastic bags that blocked the gasses from entering. The purpose was to preserve items from decomposing... like the rubber or elastic in clothes.
I'm guessing the bags hold about 20 gallons and one in my closet now is filled with socks!

Bookmarks...

Hans, on my computer, I make the change when saving the bookmark.
I'm in the process of setting up another system.

Also, some of this is noted when using other peoples workstations and they say a vendor was bookmarked, but it's not obvious.

RE: Photogenic much? That could be a problem.

In the process of backing up a computer I pulled an old hard drive from a stack of ones that were cloned and not being used.
Curious what was on the drive, I found some photos of women who were interested in me.
One was a small profile photo of a very attractive woman. It was a studio shot.
We started communicating and she sent one larger 'normal photo' but the difference was alarming... I had to ghost her!
