Bookmarks...

I question the intelligence of website programmers who don't give information in the title of a bookmark.

I'm looking for a company who sells architectural plastic products. Their name is found on a Google search and from the main page, I decided to bookmark it.

Company name: Outwater Industries (many years ago it was Outwater Plastics)
Website address: Outwater.com
Bookmark name: Welcome to the store

Comment: WTF??
I've got over 200 bookmarks and 'Welcome to the store' is more than useless when trying to find them again.

Because it's intelligent to buy plastic, right? conversing
Sometimes you need plastics, (like in raincoats, for example)

I guess, basically we can do without a lot of the plastic stuff

But it could be too little too late..

Hi, jac

@jac you have a viable alternative for plastic based piping, plumbing, tubes? Berating someone for such use or need is rather gung-ho perhaps. Wiring insulation? There is certainly excessive and unnecessary use, but aren't you going over the top?
It seems I have. hmmm

I’ve seen many homeless minorities using plastic sheeting to protect from the rain. I wonder how many it saved from pneumonia confused
@jac Are you not implying here 'plastic is bad'? In itself it is not. Single use discarded things may be, regardless of the material I suggest. The local council just replaced my electric cables, no doubt plastic sheathed. There are beneficial uses of plastics, plastics are not inherently detrimental.
@op the text displayed is intended to address direct access to a web page - the indirect access via bookmark is certainly secondary and a minor consideration. I don't know if it is detectable and thus programmable. Is it the fault of the programmer or a deficiency in the browser? On the other hand I criticise the '1yrs' you see here in CS
I'm amending my statement...

Why? I actually admire what good programmers can do.
20 years ago if you were filling out an online form and missed something, it would bounce you back to the EMPTY form for you to fill out all the information again.
many times you didn't actually know what was wrong or missing.
Not perfect, but things are much better as some sites show what field is preventing the form from being submitted.
Bravo.
So the morons who aren't getting it right isn't because they are stupid...
It's because they don't have enough experience to know every situation and avoid those "I didn't think of that" scenarios.
Hans, on my computer, I make the change when saving the bookmark.
I'm in the process of setting up another system.

Also, some of this is noted when using other peoples workstations and they say a vendor was bookmarked, but it's not obvious.
