Our local newspaper Editorial cartoon depicts a large (for emphasis) copy of the Rolling Stone mag stuffed in the trash bin and a few feet away is a large vendors magazine/paper rack and everybody is ignoring the "Mag-in-the-Trash" and looking for other newsworthy stuff!
Your doing the right thing by waiting another year and giving this man a year, too, to think about believing gossip.
Keep blogging because even though I don't respond to all of them I like YOU being here! I have another special friend from India and I just wished she would be on more often.
You are one funny and crazy dude! I was scrolling the blogs from the earliest to the latest and I read your headline. I laughed and laughed then, after reading the others, I got to yours and it was? Crazy!
Hold on now! You blame yourself, your punishing you?
You deserve better and even though I say this based on your blogs and how nice and sweet they are I am sure you are the person in real life that your blogs tell me. So I say this. If your BF has now blocked you and believed a liar I think you are better off without him.
Stay strong and I will pray, and encourage other believers to do so, for your speedy recovery from this sadness!
Yes, that experience is weird. I have had it done to me over the years. Then I grew old and I don't hang with my friend anymore. The closest thing to a friend now is someone I greet when I walk by their little trailer or mobilehome.
However, it wasn't the "American Parliamentary" that is proposing that. It's one lonely Congressman from one solitary state making the proposal. It's a funny story and the political "stuff" site that reported got practically no stir out of the public.
As a matter of fact I don't even remember reading anything about it in our newspapers. It was probably a small column stuck between the newspaper ads.
It is tough being sick. When I had cancer (stage 3) the chemotherapy alone was enough to make me feel like doing nothing let alone the disease.
My son would chastise me for not cleaning the apartment more and my neighbor would see sitting on my couch just watching TV and dog tired after 10 - 12 hours of sleep and insisting that the "cure" would be to get out and exercise.
Simply put, they didn't understand so I know what your friend is going through. Being beat up for being sick is devastating. I was already 65 when all this happened so I was a little more patient. I knew these people did not know what they were saying to me and I can tell you right now that her family does not know what they are doing.
Keep supporting and hugging your friend and tell her your there for her. She needs to know that!
It's weather patterns due to "mother nature". In the US we have areas with tons of rain and areas in a drought. It's been like that all my life.
Same thing in the winter times freezing cold weather with a huge snowfall all winter and other areas with absolutely no snow. Fortunately we have the Rocky Mountains and as long as the snowfall there is good to great it supplies us with a sufficient amount of water all summer.
RE: Slow Saturday
You sound like you could be my twin!Decisions, decisions! And so little time. Time for a nap is what I say!
