Flyjames: I am not sure where flat earth fits in here, but alright. About buying Greenland: You'll have to ask the PM of Denmark about that, but I think she'd go "Yeah not for sale" since Trump famously was barred from buying the island from my government
jac - Thank you for the suggestion. I will keep an eye out for those things, if they even have them here
Jim - No, I have never been romantically interested in K. She's not dating anyone that I know of, but even if she is, it's not my business to ask. If she wants to tell me, she will tell me. Regarding the person I was romantically interested in, it was R, who is dating someone, so I am giving her some space. I haven't talked to her since December 2019. We don't have anything to talk about anyway. I will leave it at that.
Ah yes, the famous Hi-Point saga. He really does not like those guns, and it's the funniest thing ever. He's done some pretty crazy stuff on his channel, but 99.9% of the videos are educational and fun
lovecanbereal: I have never had the desire to travel to China. Not because of the covid situation, but because of the way they treat their people. I was watching Last Week Tonight, and there was a piece about the Uyghurs, and how the Chinese government keeps them in internment camps, which they call re-education camps.
Nice: Well, I had run out of something called food, so I needed to buy some of that. I was also out of drinks, so I needed to get some of that as well.
Jac: Crown Princess Mary (last name Donaldson), is Tasmanian. They met at the Sydney Olympics, and the rest is history, as they say. We all love her here, and she will be a phenomenal queen
Chesney: The last mystery box I got contained a fair few items, actually. It was known as Nerdblock, and it had all sorts of things related to pop culture and gaming. They included a shirt, a pop figure and various other items.
Soon: I am quite excited to get it. I wonder what's inside it.
Loh: Like LaFonda says: I always ask permission before I even go near that.
Riz: I did, and it's still very comfortable. I am not going to buy all these things right now, but it's when I can afford it. Most likely it will be after I get my own place, because that would be the most sensible. Right now, my focus is saving up enough to get my own place, and then I will look at upgrading :)
I am a BIG fan of Hillsong, which is a charismatic Christian word of faith megachurch based in Australia. They have a band called Hillsong United, which makes some pretty good songs, that I enjoy very much. I am not religious at all, but I have been thinking about going to their church in Copenhagen, just to see what it is. The singer in this particular video is Taya Smith, and she has SUCH an amazing voice!
Jim: Not even pillaging in video games. I played Assassin's Creed: Valhalla a few days after release, but I stopped playing it, because I found it infuriatingly annoying. So now I am playing some driving games and some building games
Edison: I am already subscribed to some truckers on YouTube. Cassie, from Sweden and the Road Legends from the UK. They make videos that give a pretty good look into the trucking business. The ups and downs as well as some very useful tips as well
Jac: No, government funded healthcare is socialism, and therefore very bad, according to some.
But we love the so-called socialism here. No payment required when you head to the doctor, no payment required for surgery and no crippling debt when you give birth to a child. Every country on Earth could really benefit from universal healthcare
Melody: It's the government that makes those decisions. They see education as a right, not a privilege. The same with healthcare. We have universal healthcare here, which means our taxes are a bit high :)
Bob - Believe it or not, but policies in the USA affects us in Europe :). As the saying goes: If America sneezes, the rest of the World gets a cold. Also, I would love it if more people from all around the world took an interest into what happened in other countries. Please feel free to read some articles about Danish politics. It would be quite interesting to hear an outsiders perspective on things :). We have a thing going right now with mink and covid, if that peaks your interest
Chancer: Criminals are stupid. It wouldn't surprise me, if the guy arrested really DID write that letter. There are actually numerous instances, where a criminal incriminated himself. One instance of that was back in 2018, when a guy called the cops to have his newly acquired drugs tested. Or the time when a 40-year-old man, who walked into a bank and handed the cashier a threatening note that read: “Be Quick Be Quit . Give your cash or I’ll shoot.” The bank teller obliged and handed him $400, but the master criminal had overlooked the fact that his message was scribbled on a piece of his pay slip. Detectives found the other half of the pay slip outside the bank—complete with the bank robber’s name and home address.
I know, these two crimes are not even in the same ballpark as threatening to kill a Presidential candidate and his VP pick. It was just to show, that criminals really aren't the brightest bunch out there
On a waiting list - 964 people in front of me!
Jim: The $37.66 is the annual fee, not the monthly :)
