Truck driver? Yeah, looks like it!

Riz: I am definitely going for it! I am getting three licenses: Category B, category C and category C/E. B is full driving license for car, while C is truck and C/E is trailer. My options are ENORMOUS when I get a category B license. I can start my own business! I am already driving trucks, at least virtually. Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. I have put almost 400 hours into ETS2, so the next logical step is to do it for real. Working for someone to begin with. Once I have enough money for my own truck, I will buy one. Then I will save up enough money to start my own company.

Jim: The job is much more stable than looking for temp jobs, definitely.

Because the education is a mix between school and practical work. You get taught everything from the bottom. When you get a HGV license in the UK, you need to be at least 18 years old, Full Cat. B Licence; Pass a medical test, pass a practical test, CPC certificate. Apart from me being over the age of 18, I have none of those certificates, so that is probably the reason, why it takes me around 4 years. However, my course might be a bit shorter, because I am over the age of 25. We'll see when I start :)

Looking for a place to live is stressful!

Ooby: Ah yes, I forgot to do the conversion . Sorry about that. 5000 Danish kroner, which is around $787. I live with a friend - which is the single biggest mistake I have ever made. I have a reliable source of income of $1338 per month, no pets. I don't smoke, throw parties or fighting with mates. I don't really listen to music that loud, but I do like to sing, which I do badly. But once I begin my training to become a truck driver, my income should be bigger.

Orzzz: In order to get a car, I need a license, which I don't have. I have actually thought about buying a piece of land, and then build my own home out of old shipping containers. You can make some fantastic homes out of that!

Mercedes: No, I didn't have Covid. I went into quarantine per doctors advise because my housemates coworker had been exposed to someone with Covid :). So as a precaution, I was told to quarantine for 2 weeks

Yep, meat gets a bit.. Dry when it's stored for more than three days, so I might keep three in the fridge and freeze 4, for a 7 day meal plan. I will plan tomorrow, and then hopefully update on here in a few days time :)

I actually haven't had champagne since new years eve, so that isn't what I need to consume less of :D. It's more frozen food, fast food, chips, soda and various unhealthy stuff. Tomorrow I am going on a food shopping where I get some healthy stuff

Spending time with K again.

LaFonda: It will probably happen one day - but not with K. She made it clear, that she didn't want anything other than friendship, which is the way I feel as well. We are legit just friends, and that is how it will continue to remain :)

I sent the message today, so hopefully I will get a reply tomorrow or a few days in the future. I am always looking for a new place to live, so I will send out a few messages to people

Hand update!

Secret - the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome is numbness, tingling, and pain in your thumb and the first three fingers of your hand, pain and burning that travels up your arm, wrist pain at night that interferes with sleep and weakness in the muscles of the hand. I have none of these. I have plenty of power in my hand, and I haven't felt any of the other symptoms. I sleep fine, so I am very confident that it is not carpal tunnel syndrome :)

The nurse tried various different tricks, to see if anything was broken, or if anything hurt. When I said "no" to everything, she then wanted me to twist my hand from side to side. When no pain were there, she concluded, that it was a strained ligament

Loh: Well, usually I am not bothered about sleeping on couches, but this one was a bit uncomfortable - mainly because it wasn't really big enough to sleep on. It's one of those extendable couches, but I didn't extend it. Maybe I will next time, just to see if I sleep better. I think I will, if I am honest

bcjenny - I really hope so. I spent a lot of money on food, so hopefully I will not mess it up :)

JimNastics - Dude, I hope not! But I made it clear that I would buy my own bed, and I have found the exact one I want. It's a 140X220 mattress, where I can put supports under. It's RIDICULOUSLY comfortable, and very cheap. Once I get the money for that, I am getting it. Speaking of money - that is the only thing I really want this year. I have everything I need at the moment, so I am just gonna put money as a wish for gifts

Birthday coming up soon!

I had a response from K regarding attending my birthday - she's gonna be there. With all the guests confirmed, I am gonna start writing down how much I need of everything. The lamb is gonna be the most expensive thing.. But it's gonna be worth it!

bcjenny - I do use Twitter, but I never tweeted about me applying for 400 jobs there. Besiddes, I never gave them my Twitter handle. Tatami nailed it. It was exactly that reason why I didn't get the job :)

Quarantine Day 2!

WonderingLorax: I have a fair few books. I only read one when I am going on a very long trip, where there's nothing else to do. Whenever I am going to visit the USA, once this Corona business blows over, I will bring one with me. I have so many to pick from. From fiction like the Harry Potter series to autobiographies, like Obama's book. And then I have some books, that are just plain weird, which I love.
