I don't plan on taking the tour, but I do plan on taking a picture from outside the fence. I'll ask the guards there if it's okay to do so. I don't want to cause any alarms to go off or anything.
I have taken note of your suggestions, so they are going on my list :)
I want to try them, because what I see on their menu looks amazing! I'm not going to eat there all the time, just once. Dinner will probably be at a diner or at my friends place.
My first flight is at 6:25 am, so I'm gonna do what I usually do, and get to the airport at around 1:30 am. It's so easy! I'm taking the train to Copenhagen Central Station, and then a train from Copenhagen Central Station directly to the airport. It takes about an hour from when I leave my house until I am standing in the airport. Plus I already know which terminal my flight leaves from, so it's gonna be a pretty relaxed start to the trip :). I never bring any liquids on flights. The only thing I bring is clothes, toiletries (toothbrush and toothpaste), passport and money. Anything else can be bought at my destination.
I have heard that Lufthansa has some great service, and that they also can be VERY bad. Hopefully I will have a smooth flight. I booked the trip as a tourist. I want to spend a week in the USA, just to see if it's truly a place I would like to work, or if it's awful :)
Haha, no it’s not drugs . I work in a party supply store, so it’s everything from costumes to wigs, napkins, cups, straws and pretty much anything you need to host a party. No machines, though
The majority of the food I have bought is in my freezer. If I continue to feel like I am feeling now, I will definitely see a doctor. However, I will see if a caffeine detox helps. If that does not help, then the doctor is next on the list
I have had both shots and one booster. I am 99% sure that my current discomfort is due to my pretty wild intake of caffeine. We're talking energy drinks and several cans of coca cola a day. I have been cutting back on it, and once I did that, I started feeling awful
I use whole milk in my cooking. However, my body doesn't agree with lactose, so I'm using the lacto free version. I made pancakes this morning with the lacto free whole milk
I have been driving in small towns, but my driving instructor felt like I was competent enough to drive in the big city. The fact that I made it out in one piece, and that I want to drive more, means that I haven't been scared from the experience. I was just a bit stressed out, but after some deep breaths, I pulled myself together and got the drive done
I have been to London several times, so I am sure it will go well. I know they drive on the other side of the road, so I am not too scared. It's more the volume of traffic there I am worried about. London rush hour traffic is infamous for being the worst experience for new truckers
Load security is also a very strict thing here. Let's say I have strapped a load down, and the police is flagging me down in order to check my truck. If they look at the load and go "This load isn't secured with enough straps", then they will fine me. Let's say I get fined $5.000. The way the rules are set up here, the fine will be double that to my boss.
It's no mercy here, when it comes to securing the load, as it should be. Some of the things truckers haul can kill people if their cargo falls of their trailer
Loh_key - Yep, almost 50. 47, to be exact. The retirement age in the USA is about 66, so with any luck, I will have around 19 years of work in the USA, before retirement :)
I always say "glædelig jul", which is Danish for Merry Christmas. I only use the word holiday, when it's appropriate. Case in point, on Friday, we are breaking for Christmas, and we enter a period known as the Christmas holiday days, since holiday, for me, is where I am off for an extended period of time. I sometimes use the word vacation for that, but here in Denmark, holiday and vacation means the same thing
Lukeon - I am not into marriage yet. I am still under 40, so I am still in my "serious relationship, but not for marriage purposes". Will I rule out the possibility of a marriage one day? No, definitely not. But right now, I am not looking for a woman to marry.
Making plans for the USA!
My friend is picking me up from the airport, so that's a very good thing. Less to worry about :)
