The last details of my second work experience week is finalized!

Jac: My first weeks work experience was at an international moving company, and it was backbreaking work. Definitely not for me, which I also informed them

A fantastic evening with K was ruined by my own body.

Well.. I heard back from K a bit ago.. She's showing cold-like symptoms.. Which means I did pass it on to her.. Not my intentions, but luckily she's cool about it. "It's a cold, it'll pass. Don't feel bad. I'll be okay", were her words

A fantastic evening with K was ruined by my own body.

No, because I made sure to keep my distance, at all times :)

Apprenticeship interview today plus another one next week.

RoseHipster - That guy sounds like he's from New Zealand or Australia. I live in Denmark. On the other side of the planet. I am not sure that a video like that is what I should treat as gospel. Every country has their own rules and insurance companies in Denmark aren't going to go with what someone from New Zealand or Australia says. Different countries, different laws

Possible apprenticeship secured!

Hello Butcher559. The education is based in two parts: A basic course, where you learn the basics: to drive a forklift, learn about various techniques to secure loads to trucks, fire and rescue and at the end, a category B driving license. In order to qualify for the driving license, you need a place to do an apprenticeship, and in order to be as attractive to a possible apprenticeship location, you need to at least have a basic understanding about trucks, how they operate and how to load it.

The school is not allowed to give us a driving license without having passed the basic course. It's mandated by the government. I could go out and get a driving license out of my own pocket, but I cannot afford that, and if the school pays for one, then why not go that way :)

Hearing from R and meeting a new friend on Bumble.

Yeah. I have decided to get rid of that anything that doesn't benefit me. That means suitcases from old friends, and people I haven't talked to in years

Covid vaccine side effects arrived yesterday!

When you get a vaccine, you get a small amount of the virus injected into your body, in order for your immune system to learn it and battle it the best way possible. I was already immune due to me being infected with the virus way back in January. I took the vaccine because I felt it was right. No government mandate has had any influence on me taking the vaccine.

Regarding me being a guinea pig.. They began vaccinating people all the way back in February, so I am not really considering myself to be a guinea pig. If there were any issues at all, they would have pulled the vaccine off the program, like they did with the AstraZeneca and the Johnson&Johnson vaccines. I have full confidence in the vaccine working as intended :)

Covid vaccine side effects arrived yesterday!

That's exactly what happened, I believe :)

Second covid vaccine shot acquired!

Ooby: So far that's all I have experienced as well. Some soreness, and that's it

Second covid vaccine shot acquired!

Yeah, that's also one of the reasons I am happy I am vaccinated now. Or, that I will be fully covered in two weeks time. I don't really have the time or the desire to be infected with the Delta variant

Second covid vaccine shot acquired!

My first jab left me very sore and very tired. I had trouble sleeping the night after my first jab, but the following night I slept like a log. Hopefully the second jab will be much more lenient :)

Second covid vaccine shot acquired!

Lukeon - I am fairly confident I will survive a week. I will hopefully have a lot of years ahead of me

Mercedes_00 - I got the Pfizer vaccine

Week one of my education!

Ooby - It'll be a while before I get behind the wheel of a truck. I need my forklift license and my driving license first. Realistically, we are looking at mid-January 2022 before I get behind the wheel of a truck. My first truck license is for a 6X2 truck, like this

Later on, I will get the license for the trailer, and then I'll be driving tractor trailer stuff. I am just excited to get behind the wheel of something :)

Upgrading and shuffling furniture around

realdeal890 - I had a two hour walk earlier today. The window is open as well, so I'm getting plenty of fresh air :)

RE: Happy U.S. Coast Guard Day Y'all!!

Almost situated in the new place

Ooby: Yes. It's less than 20 minutes from where I moved to in May. I have no plans of moving to a different country.. Not yet, anyway

Feeling like myself again! (vaccine update)

I hadn't planned on getting a date after my second shot. I think I'll be more busy with my education :). Of course I will still spend time with people outside studying, but I'm not actively looking to date. I am quite happy being single for now, so I don't see the need to change that :)

I am moving in one month, exactly!

Jenny: I rarely listen to music without headphones on, so I am sure that will not be an issue. The only time music is playing out of my sound system is when I am watching a movie or playing a video game, that has music in it :)

Called in for vaccination!

ooby: 2 million Danish kroner to buy, which is just around 321.000 US dollars. I don't have that amount of money, so unfortunately I have to move again

LaFonda: K lives in a one bedroom apartment, so there's no space for me and all my stuff. Besides, her and I live two very different lives. If I moved in with K, I am pretty sure we would drive each other mad, plus she likes her privacy, which I respect.

Bohemund: Hello! Welcome to the absolute horror show that is my blogs. It's nice to have you here :). Regarding your vaccine opposition: I have several friends and family members who have gotten the vaccine. None of them have shown any signs of adverse effects after they've received it. Regarding what Tucker said.. Well, I am not taking him seriously, and neither should you. Why not? Because Fox News themselves has told you that you shouldn't.

In the case of McDougal v. Fox News Network, LLC, No. 1:2019cv11161 - Document 39 (S.D.N.Y. 2020), read it here: the judge leaned heavily on the arguments of Fox's lawyers, stating that the 'general tenor' of the show should inform a viewer that Carlson is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary'. That means that 99% of the stuff that Tucker Carlson says, shouldn't be taken seriously or even as fact. His job is to entertain, not to provide hard hitting facts.

Time to start dating. Where to begin?

Rose - I decided to give my entire profile a makeover. New text and a new picture. Well, mostly new text

Birthday went well!

Timotie - Hello! I did enjoy the early dinner yesterday! Great food and great company :)

Good news regarding face masks - and a gig!

Luke: Apparently so. According to the government, the virus isn't infecting people who sit down, only the ones standing up..

Cryptor: A covid passport is a document that shows if you have been vaccinated, tested or have been infected with covid. It's extremely clever, but naturally, there are people who are going "This is a dictatorship. I don't want a covid passport that I can show to gain entrance to certain places", but the same people are not saying anything when they have to show their regular passport or their ID to gain entrance to certain places..

Fun in the sun with K (it finally happened!)

Bob: But neither of us got a bacon cheeseburger. I got a Big Mac Bacon, and K got the cheese burgers. Mine was the only one with bacon in it.

Is it unhealthy? Yes. Will I stop eating it? No. Besides, I eat fairly healthy at home anyway, so indulging in some fast food once a week isn't gonna do too much damage

Fun in the sun with K (it finally happened!)

Bob: I am not sure what the 1954 vibe was, but I didn't write it like that :). Also, we're both poor at the moment, and McDonald's was the closest and easiest place to eat. I refuse to go to Copenhagen to eat a meal at a restaurant, when McDonald's is filling. Maybe when we both have a bit more money, we'll go to a restaurant to eat. But for now, McDonald's is just fine :)

Fun in the sun with K (it finally happened!)

Jim: I am not sure she's dating anyone at the moment

Mermaidhair: K is an old friend, whom I have known for a while. We often get together and hang out, and now we live in the same city, making it easier for us to get together

New roomate vs. old roommate (part 1 of many)

marinivan: Yeah, lots of people live with roommates, even when they are adults. It's a nice way to split the rent :)

Budgetting for the next few years

Edison: It's not like I don't pay taxes on my income - I do. It's a safety net for people who are between jobs, and it's been a thing ever since I can remember. Some people look down on people who are on government welfare, which is why I want to get out of it as fast as possible. That will happen in August when I begin my education. 20 weeks on education boost, and after that, I get a proper salary from a company.

Ooby: I put them in a savings account.. Well.. I transfer them to my mother, who is keeping them for me. If I need some money from it, I have to ask my mother to transfer them to my account. I don't earn any interest on the savings at the moment. One of these days, I am going to open up a proper savings account and transfer the money there.

New place, new people, new beginnings

Fonda: I will keep my options open for that, but baby steps :)

New place, new people, new beginnings

Jim and Jac: Thank you banana
