Very sweet of you ! If only everyone would simply take a good hard look at what they have done and what they truly plan to do in the future. There's no doubt that this (i.e. annual) self evaluation would not only help to improve themselves, but make the world a better place for everyone. Regardless, we are only responsible for our own actions and even that can be challenging at times. However, I believe true character is tested best by how we treat others in those difficult moments.
Else - I guess that's what is known as poetic justice.
hedi - most people who blog, often write about their experiences. Indeed, the word blog originated with the intent of a daily log. Thus, I'm not sure what you are trying to say. Care to clarify ?
I'm not sure, but I think it was Mark Twain who stated something like, "it's better to say nothing and let them think you may be an idiot, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt". Sounds like it certainly applies to the individual who got your dander up.
Are you kidding, I just got some great feedback ! You all brought up some good points. I too can be very nice or very volatile depending upon what's being dished out to me. However, it's not like someone is actually shooting a gun at your head, or something. We all should survive, no matter how harsh the comment/commentor. I try to respond to everyone, but I'm not on the computer 24/7, so they just have to exhibit a little patience. I feel this blog page has terrific potential, but most readers just don't get it. They don't get involved and thus, they miss out. Keep up the great work guys !
I believe god is an invention of man to help explain that which he/she does not understand and to make them feel more comfortable about their inevitable demise.
Thanks to all for your input. I did not recognize anyone in the dream at all. I did not see any real connection to past or present situations/events. It did seem very real until I woke up, however. It was very vivid.
Thanks to you all for reading it and I'm very glad that it motivated at least one person to take some action towards health improvment. It IS so critical.
Thank you ladies. While I was able to spend some time with her before she got unresponsive, unfortunately, there was also a lot off time spent in the hospital and hospice where she was unresponsive. I'm not sure if she even knew I was there. Nonetheless, I was glad to be able to look out for her best interest and be there to communicate with the doctors & nurses. Regardless, not being able to fully trust my sister and now having both parents gone, there is certainly a new emptyness, I have never felt before. I'm sure I will return to my happy go lucky self eventually, but at least for now, I find it challenging to let go of the sadness.
Thanks Tina. Been working on my mom's home every morning & afternoon thus far. But have taken some great photos later in the day too. When I get back in February I will post some. Merry Christmas to you and everyone else.
Karma, paybacks and the secret to happiness
