Bernacke says it is going to take 4-5 years for the US economy to get to 6% unemployment from the present 9.6%.

Then the logic then to vote for President Obama for a second
term is? So the next 2-3 years, we can have slowly declining unemployment rate while the unemployed get foreclosed on and
will get government benefit packages?

Not sure that will fly with the American people that like fast fixes.....and fast foods.....and fast cars.....and fast w.......you get the idea....

I mean I wager that Afghan drug trafficker stepping into Iran....seldom get harressed or arrested. Iran does hang and arrest drug users and dealers.....but has the world lowest rate of arresting and convicting drug trafficking in the world.....only 2% of those in Iranian prisons are for drug trafficking.

While on the world's average it is from 18% to 20% those sentenced are drug traffickers.

Maybe the two American hikers should have packed in a burrow of illegal drugs.....they would out of Iran by now.

I have seem some pretty good mind readers in my day. But they all needed clues from the individuals.....or had a shell in the croud getting info on the people selected.

But in SB case....he just labors away at his goal in life...to bring the world knowledge on Isreal and its treatment of Palestines.....

How can little old Isreal and the Jewish people....with only 12m people in the big old world.....and with only Isreali GNP of only $206b going to play into the kind of peace purchase?

I would say that Iran with 69m and 380 Shia spread across 50 countries in the world....plays a much bigger role in the world, than little old Isreal.

DEMs lost more base with the mid term. IND are up now to 38%. REP
picked up a point.

With nearly 40 percent of the voters calling themselves IND....and a recent poll that says 60% want a smaller Gov't and less costly Gov't.....things are looking good for the TEA Party. Both of these figures are striking at big spending Rhino REPs and the liberal spending DEMs.

The voters have placed both of them into the same catagory....you are taking money out my pocket and from my family for your Gov't.

With these figures, Tea Party canidates and Tea Party voter affliations should increase for the 2012. The real question is if the Tea Party now in office will continue to represent this growing segment of society or if it be compromised into big spending and big government.

There is change occurring the country.....just not the kind of change that President Obama and DEM wanted to lead. Stuck on high budgeted programs and give a-ways benefits it hard for them to move to the center and to smaller government.

Though Sen Schulmer of NY came out firing at REP for being the big spenders and already failing to meet their contract with America principle objectives. DEMs now press for a raise in the national debt ceiling, while blaming the REP for placing us there.

It was not the REP that passed Obama care that trillion dollar shift in our economy. Or TARP II that $800b stimulus package that went to wall street, auto firms and pork rinds. That is what placed us near the legislated debt level.

Americans have figured out the Liberal game is to spend the United State into near bankrupcy. While they kiss up to Russia, China, and the Islamic world. That is why 60% are saying smaller gov't with less spending.

A near bankrupt America doesnot look so powerful to Russia, China, and Islam. So it is easier to get peace treaties and sign START agreements, when America is not the 500 pound Grey Back Gorilla on the block. But the near insolvent Rhesus monkey in the tree....

So it is easier for the White House to deal with them. The days of projecting military power as means of keeping the peace are over with for this Administration. As they request 150b cuts in DoD spending. NKorea sinks South Korean Navy Vessel....killing 46....and the US surfaces a boomer off shore! NKorea shells a island killing 4.....the US sends the Washington for war games
in the Yellow Sea!

Premier Kim is laughing on his train headed to Peking for his next set of instructions. Knowing that now the US will ainty up food and fuel for his country...just to keep peace. After doing his version of nation state nuclear extortion.

This kind of nonsense and non effective diplomancy and geo political thinking in Washington has to stop. It does not get
us anywhere in solving the issues of the Koreas.

Now the US with a military growing China, wants to buddy buddy up. Boy the Taiwanese, Japanese, and Phillilines have to take great comfort in that. We sell them billion in anti missile and radars and then buddy buddy up to the main reason they bought them.

This will be the ploy that the Obama administration is going to try to do in the Persian Gulf. Before his term is out, President Obama will be buddy buddy with Iran. So instead of using our military for keeping the peace. We are buying the peace in these regions.

Stepping up to President Obama geo political moral high ground position....as he buys off Iran, North Korean, China and Islam....is not a step up. What is worse, his supporters are the one saying....our wars have cost the country so much here at home. Wait till they see the price on buying peace in the middle east and asia.

House Leader Boehner and the Tea Party sat the DEM down for a reading of the US Constitution. That document that was trampled on the last couple of years.

DEMs .....wanted not only the Constitution read...but wanted all the sections of the document that have changed over the years. So the age old issues of race, religion, and wealth redistribution in the country could be entered in the reading and then into future House discussions.

When the section that reads..."no person, except a naturalized or a citizen of the United States' is eligible to be President Of the United States...a woman yelled out from gantry...."Except Obama".

Seems like birthers are alive and well in Congress these days, at least in the gantry.....

The REP Simpson chairing the house banged the gavel...halted the proceedings....and had the woman removed from the House!

The reading of the Constitution might seem like a small thing to many.....but a few comments....

REP Gay Islee.....'it was special to us all"

It took about 1 and 1/2 hours to read......and might very well be the best 90 minutes of public service that this Congress offers the country.

What can I throw into the thread to give Dude his daily dose of
anxiety....decisions decisions decisions.....

Sadly a second person in AZ has passed away because reduced coverage because of the Obama cuts to medicaide. Another potential transplact pateint passed away because funds could not be found for the operation.

The fingers on this are soon to start pointing. Is it AZ State or Federal Gov't responsiblity? Is it REP or DEM fault? Is it Obama's fault or Palin's fault.

In someway, I think we have a shared responsibility here. We are the government of the United States A man or woman, that we elect represents us in the office they hold. So when the ball gets dropped....and it has been dropped in these two cases of tissue transplant surgery. Then it is we the people that failed right along with the elected leaders that cut the medicare funding.

As we push to 2014, when Obama care comes....in AZ alone....if this rate of surgery failures occurs.....another 6-8 will die. Put that across the country.....likely between 300 and 400 that are going to die because of the medicare cuts backs.

Is this to be President Obama fault? Well he did push for Obamacare. He campaigned and spoke on it 100s of times. But I don't think that it is 100% his fault. DEMs in Congress put the Obamacare package together, they are the ones that cut the Mediciade funding. They could have just as easily in the 2700 pages of Obamacare....place in supplemental funding for a interim organ tissue surgeries for 20010 to 2014. But did not, and did not let the REP have time to offer the suggestion.

What ever your logic or political ideology....Americans should not be dieing because of the lack of funds for a operation that has been done for 30 years. But they are. To DEMs maybe this is part of the 'hard times' that we need to go thru. Prior to Obamacare, funds were avialable for these procedures and now they are not. So your self imposed 'hard time' on the elderly organ reciepant, is getting people dead. Your shift to broaden our health care to everyone in the country, is costingly lives today.

REP told you so. We said that in a country of 304m people transitioning to a government health care managed systems, people were going to slip thru the cracks. Well they are....

So the growing question to DEM...with REP heated to repeal Obamacare.... are they going to continue to let people die.....so that they can have a nationwide government health care program?

Come on....the last time a Conservative woman came from NH as Senator was? Never. Ayotte is breaking the mold in New England.
She had Palin support to win in NH....but face tough Tea Party opposition....so she is kind of a momma bear but walks a different path than the New England Tea Party.

Kris Kobash Sect of State of Kansas

Kansas you say? Kobash is a conservative thinker type. Guess who wrote the AZ immigation bill? If you guess Kobash, you got it.
He also wrote Hazleton, PA illegal alien renter codes, Muslim requirements to register post 911, and ran on a stricter voter ID platform to easily win in Kansas. A young gun thinker type!

Amy Kremer....kept the TEA Party isolated from the REP party when the DEM were saying that they are one in the same. She ran a very successful PR campaign to explain Tea Party and REp were not symonious. She is moving into conservative issue lobbying on the hill now.

Allen West is one of two black REP in the Congress. A former military officer that relieved of command after a bad intorragation of terrorist in Iraq. A former Iraq war Vet here. Only 32 in age. He with West are going to be the real life face of Iraq and Afghanistan in Congress. They have been there and done that. So know the story.

Ken Cuccenelli.....went after the U of V Climate Control professors on fraud charges. He is a Tea Party favorite. With his proximity to Washington and the Beltway, now as the AG of
Virgina, he is looked to challenge Obama signed legislation in court action.

Senator Ken Johnson of Wisconsin.

Johnson is a Tea Party favorite. Coming into Washington with a desire to cut budgets and repeal health care. But he is also a idea man. He wants to look at Presidential war authorities for legilative change.

TX Railroad Commissioner Micheal Williams.

Williams was nearly the first black Senator from Texas. Had some politics gone differently there, he would have been making run.
He is Tea Party favorite. If the politic change....look for him to make run for Senate the next time around

There your 10 conservative names to watch in 2011. Each has to play a key role in the new government that is shaping up. If they do....the country has been taken back from DEM control.....

Here is were the NKorean/SKorean crisis gets expensive for the
United States.

Our China Ambassador just had 'constructive consultation' with the Chinese on diffusing the situation. It is not the food and fuel that we give to the NKorean for them to keep their weapons safety but rather when to go China to ask them to place pressure on the NKorean to flick the safety on.......we lose our ability to ask for currency controls, better quality exported items,China to honor WTO agreements, etcetcetc.....

Asking China to help on Korea, places us "one friendly favor" over the line on these other issues. So when we do ask on these other issues, China yawns and stays the sleeping dragon. At least most of the time.

We lose more on the Chinese currency arrangement than we do in food and fuel shipments to NKorea. Economically for us to get the currency issue ironed out is pretty important. China knows this. So when ever we get fussie () about the currency issue, NKorea takes the safety off the weapons and off the rhetoric.

The regional focus moves to keeping WWIII from breaking out and the Chinese have again successfully deflected a serious discussion on the economic issues between the two countries.

This is because, the US foreign policy is single issue driven. One issue at a time. Solve that and move on to the next. We need to become more multi tasking to multiple issues solving in our foriegn policy when dealing with China.

Because kids, China has the single issue game plan all mapped out. Both how to block and deflect our attempts to discuss major singles issues with them. They are very good at this.

Had the US Ambassador....gone to the China leaders.....and said....we wish serious talks on NKorea and here is our team of negotiators they will be Soul next week. Also here is our team of negotiators on the Currency issue, they will be in Taiwan next week. And our team on the quality of China exports, they will be in Tokyo next week....please send your negotiation team to meet with them all.

Now you got something cooking with China. But being foreign policy single issue driven, that is not how we play the geo political game.

See all these other Chinese issues....effect also our regional allies ...Soul, Toyko, and Tapian all get involved with what ever we do with China. The currency thing effect them greatly.

But both GWB and Obama administrations have been single issued driven with China. As long as we take this approach, China is going to take our lunch on the playground and hand us back a empty paper sack.

To go to this broader multi issue negotiation with China...is not a easy government task. It is very complex. It is more like playing Star Trek's 3-D chess with the big Blue Computer than play chess with with your grand daddies old board and pieces with a novice player.

We can be single issue driven with allies like the UK and smaller countries. But with China......eventually we will not even get the paper sack back.

You know.....in the Civil war....the south had a 'the great cause'.
All that the men could talk about was 'the cause'. What they had to do win 'the cause'. How the North was so unfair to them because of 'the cause.'

In other words....southern men were fixatiated on 'the cause' of the South. It drove the southern women nuts...you read the letter of southern women.....by the end of the war....none wanted to hear anything about 'the cause'.

So just a question....something for you toanswer to yourself....it need not be answered here.....how many friends have you made and kept in the last couple of years....since picking up 'the cause' of the Palestines.

Seems the US Ambassador to Lybia is the most recent Wikileak casualty. Seems he made some non approving cables together on Lybian leader Kadffi.....and now that they were brought in to the light of public....Kadffi is having some trouble with them.

So the Ambassador is head back to the US for 'consultations'.

So what were the cable about?

Well Lybia had made the decision to give up its nuclear enrichment program. By giving Russia all of it HEU materials. There was a agreed date of shipment.....when this passed by 30 days....and no
Lybian shipment....the US Ambassador got nervous. WMDs have a way of doing that to you.

But that is not the real cause.

Seems the sometime ailing Kadffi.....has 4 female nurses from the Ukriane....and one is very.....Ummmm.....how does put this is mixed internet company...... very buxom and very blonde.

The good Amabassador saw something strange in Kadffi everytime this .....Ummmmm......the very boxom and very blonde nurse appeared in his quarters.

And he reported it in the cables....now public cables from wikileaks...and...now Kadffi is doing the act. Something that the Lybian leader doesnot like doing in front of the entire world and muslim population.

My suggest for Kadffi.........is a great pair of rayban sunglasses....helps to keep people from following your eye line.

The House Armed Service Committee can order a investigation hearing....and now it is headed by a REP......so if I am the retired LT CO....the father of the 1st LT.....there is where I am heading.
