A long time ago, I gave my heart and I have never regretted it. My only regret was that I was dumb and let him go. SOmetimes we have to learn the hard way.
You are not the first person for this to happen to and you won't be the last. It is not about the site. It is about people. Some of us are just dishonest. Don't lose heart, give yourself time to heal and try again. Sorry
Alright alright, before my name comes up, I confess it but as was exquisitely written once," I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it".
Lovinglaura] if anyone needs prayers just state who needs it(initials are fine) and what the prayer is for. Set back and allow God to work. ..
People can say what they like. Laura do you think you could ask the Gentleman upstairs if he could send a good man my way?
Fun and Jokes aside and so as not to be too selfish, and maybe a few partners for some of the other good people in here. For some people finding the right person is going to take a miracle. So we need all the help we can get
Thanks in advance, K
Shame on some of you. It is nice to have someone pray for you. Some of us need a lot of prayers, seriously
I think my worst date was with a guy who from the get go wanted to know how serious I was about him, to be honest, i was just focused on enjoying a pleasant evening. I was interested but I wanted to see how the date would go. Now he was making me tense and then he kept giving me these extended hugs, then he put his hand on my butt and that ended it...I would think that was my worst date. Whatever interest was in place disappeared at the end of the 'touch the butt', segment
I have forgiven him and we talk from time to time though and he still does not understand my issues with how the date went.
Ah well, tainogirl, once someone took me for a riiiiide, when I finally got out of the car, it was without my pennies. Now whoever wants to take me for a ride can but my pennies are in someone else's car
The truth is I stay away from Jamaican Rum. It is more than I can handle, that's how I ended up laughing all night and sitting on chairs that were not there . My friends took me home so I could laugh it off. That stuff, i don't play with anymore. Taste great though but pack a punch. Have in moderation
I don't get aggressive I am more pleasant and more willing to tell you what I think of you. I laugh alot too. Not such a grand idea so I try not to repeat it.
"I really don't care what the motivation is or was when she accepted a date with me. If she is out with me, I will pay for everything. I will continue to open doors, pull her chair out, and be a 'southern gentleman' in my definition of the words". Oh Big John aren't you just a little sweetie
There is also a Jamaican play that is very popular here with a similar title. It stars one of our funniest actors 'Oliver Samuels'. An upper middle class girl brings home her barely employed boyfriend who is a rastafarian.
In my family they wouldn't mind if I brought home a black boy or care at all if he is white or green but if he were a rastafarian, who is like the sect of dreadlocks in Jamaica who sell brooms and live in the mountains of St.Thomas, oh boy Yup, those would be some of the responses I would get from my family, haha. However if he were a professional they would be more accepting, a bit more, maybe like in this play that I found on youTube (I'm A Doctor). check out this site
I don't think you should go looking for trouble but if you suspect it, research is necessary. Heresay goes nowhere. Hard evidence is what a solid argument is built on. Yes I want the truth then let me make my decisions based on that.
The truth is that after I test you a few times and you pass, I wouldn't bother to anymore unless your grades start falling again
Trust isn't a right, it is something you earn. So earn it damn you
On the downside though, so many of us expect to be offered something that we ourselves are not worthy of.
RE: Which is worse to be rejected or have to show rejection?
Being rejected is terrible but having to reject someone isn't fun either.
