I'm being very selfish here.
I used to always pray for other people, but this time I'd like a prayer for ME!
I'd like to find faith - I am jealous of those who have the strength that faith gives them that I haven't got.
I know HUMAN love. It has been taken away from me. If God has taken it away as some kind of punishment - please God, have mercy, and give it back!

This is really no differnt than all those threads that poke fun at or debase religeon. Just a different perspective on it. And it's posted in the religeous category. I would have thought that since there is a religeous category to begin with someone must have thought religeon was somehow important to some people looking for partners.
You're asking for people to respect your right not to believe which is fine but I fail to see anywhere on here where anyone dragged you into this thread. Yet you take it upon yourself to denounce and/or control another persons beliefs.

Just a thought, but Plenty of Fish (POF) got so swamped with Religion and Political threads that they deleted them all and banned them from the site. It would be a shame if CS did the same.
I certainly would miss the political threads because they give me the chance for my little voice to be heard on very important matters. I would also miss the Religious threads except the ones like this that preach to me, try to get me to do something like start a prayer chain. I think that is going too far.

What get me is the cutting and pasting of whole articles without giving the source. CS Forums should be about personal opinion and beliefs with quotes from a sourced articles to make the point.
Also don't want CS to start censorship like the other websites. I prefer they just delete threads and posts that they find problematic and not just forbid them to be posted in the first place.------ This thread is Archived ------

i will pray for you now. i take praying very seriously. we both can pray for your faith to return, but u have got to want it with all of u heart. just tell God what u wrote on here. when bad things happen in our lives, we sometimes want to blame God because he didn't intervene to help. it's normal. God will strenghten u if u believe. we all get down, but when one door closes another one opens/I used to always pray for other people, but this time I'd like a prayer for ME!
