Just make sure you mic is turned on. It asked me if I want to allow it or something like that. And I had to say yes. Hope that helps. I'm not much of a techie.
Since I am the OP I feel obligated to play along. I'm another who doesn't like the sound of my own voice. I know I can't sing. I have been told my voice carries whatever that means.
I haven't met anyone who posts here so I don't have any strong opinions. I think in real life you might find you like some of the people you think you don't like, and conversely you might find you don't like some of the people you thought you did like. And your opinion can change over time. Thick skinned people tend to do better on the internet than sensitive people.
