What a handsome pair of intelligent gentlemen! I'm so glad you found each other! And how gracious of you to invite ladies to confirm your new and special union. I suppose I should don my wing and join you.
Those were pretty much the exact words my ex-wfe used to describe her feelings for me. Ouch. But kudos to you for saying them, Mary. It's something you need to do, in my opinion. And someday I hope you have the nerve to say them to him. He should know how you feel.
I don't think it's a matter of "judging." It's simply finding someone initially more appealing. I find many things to attract or repel me in a profile besides the photos - but they're generally one of the first things I look at.
I cleanly admire Riya. Not so cleanly Eupho. A "distant" yearning for Athens. I have a blonde crush on BEB. A sizable liking for Bubbles. A fatherly affection for Pearl. A perky attraction to Imared. A verbose infatuation with Bajan. A fowl feeling for Arabella. Flowery sentiments for Rose. A Teutonic admiration for Uli. A desire to alter reality itself for a certain person north of me...
So I mostly named names. Do I get a prize, Claire?
Hmmm...thanks, T, that actually does sound kind of good. Except I'm not sure I'd ever trust a woman with a loaded gun around me. That just might be tempting fate, if you know what I mean.
That's a good question, MB. I'm surprised by how much I like some of the people here. There is a reality to this experience, but it's hard to dispute that a lot of fantasy and misinformation are part of it. Regardless, I do find myself - a more or less lone wolf type of a guy - caring about the friends I've made here.
My basic favorite would be an evening of snuggling on the couch with freshly popped popcorn periodically making out in front of a feel-good romantic movie (like Saw or American Me).
A close second might be a stroll along the Seine, dinner in an exquisite French restaurant, followed by lovemaking on expensive French pastries.
I regard deer as cockroaches with long, prancing legs (after hitting one, and narrowly missing another). I'm really not into hunting, but I think I could almost enjoy shooting one of them...
I was just asking where you purchased that hat, Ship. And suddenly I realized I probably couldn't afford it, and didn't want you to torment with that fact. Can you really blame me?
Few things beat the thrill of facing down an angry cottontail. Those beady, angry eyes seem to glare into the very pitts of your soul, just daring you to pull the trigger of your pellet gun, knowing damn well that if you miss, or your shot doesn't hit a vital organ, you're history. That's one reason I always drink heavily when I hunt: it takes the edge of my terror, and provides the moral fortitude to do what has to be done.
RE: If you're wondering about the pic ?
Clever, Euphoria. But you know exactly what I meant. It gets lonely sometimes in these photos, you know...
