again not your problem Some people want to be free and others want to take it away. Again I don't condone torture of any kind and am embarrassed of my government for what they may have done. But to openly accuse the very people who are actually looking out for Manning's health and welfare of torture is not gonna fly.
Ah a limey (no offense) Is trying to school Americans on the Constitution. I do believe the President Is a Self professed Constitutional Scholar. I firmly believe I know more about it than him.
Just for your information. The Constitution is the document that places limits on the government not on the people. Every president from Lincoln on has ignored it to one extent or another.
The constitution guarantees freedom. What you do with it is a whole other ball game.
No this thread was used to accuse people of torture. Plain and simple. I have no delusions that our government is capable of it and has in the past. So has every other government in the history of the world. The Constitution was used as toilet paper by this admin just as those before. Just think Obama Care. That is more unconstitutional than Manning being held on charges of espionage.
He could have and deserted if he had principles of thinking it was illegal to go. He chose to go and that being a conscience decision he invalidated the right to say it was an illegal order. He new what he was doing and did it willfully. Period. He want's the spotlight and were not gonna give it to him.

Yeah no need in having a bachelors degree if all you can do is draw welfare and watch tv because of no jobs. Not every one need's more than a High school education.
The Suez Crisis, also referred to as the Tripartite Aggression, (Arabic: ???? ?????? - ??????? ???????? ?Azmat al-Suwais/Al-?Idwan al-Thalathi; French: Crise du canal de Suez; Hebrew: ???? ???? Mivtza' Kadesh "Operation Kadesh," or ????? ???? Milhemet Sinai, "Sinai War") was a war fought by Britain, France, and Israel against Egypt beginning on 29 October 1956.
The attack followed Egypt's decision of 26 July 1956 to nationalize the Suez Canal, after the withdrawal of an offer by Britain and the United States to fund the building of the Aswan Dam, which was partly in response to Egypt recognizing the People's Republic of China during the height of tensions between China and Taiwan. Britain and France were also strongly opposed to Nasser's plan to annex the Sudan.
The three allies, especially Israel, were mainly successful in attaining their immediate military objectives, but pressure from the United States and the USSR at the United Nations and elsewhere forced them to withdraw. Britain and France completely failed in their political and strategic aim of controlling the canal. Israel fulfilled some of its objectives, attaining the freedom of navigation through the Straits of Tiran and the pacification of the Egyptian-Israeli border through UNEF.
