AS has been stated a few hundred times it's a military affair and no body else's business. that goes for you too. If you cant be bothered to read all that has been posted and then just jump in and start bashing then sorry. But as I said start from the beginning and read. lots of good info.

Again you know nothing about how the military justice system works. They are more strict in how they treat the law and regulation breakers. Abu Ghraib was a set of idiot's that thought they could get away with it. Again here The commander should have been held accountable also but the enlisted suffered the most because of their actions.

The buck stops where the law breakers begin. Manning supposedly stole classified material and that is the end. He will be tried in a military Tribunal and that's it what the final outcome is no one knows but IF he is found guilty he could get the death penalty. But most likely he will get a minimum of 30 years to possibly life.

Sorry but I did not see her tell you to go away and be quiet. You don't want it to be tried in the media but yet your advocating that it be just that way. Shamnesty is trying it in the media so before you go saying something think just a bit. You got your thread from a media posting.

This has been the case since it started. But who really started it PFC Manning when he stole classified document's from a military installation. The onus is on the Government to prove he did just that. IF they can't then he goes free.

No winners or loser's in this game. But you would be fine if you follow the laws and regulations of the command. He didn't and he's paying a price.

Nope. Not joking. Don't lie it tough. America is a land of law. Don't want to do the time or have to deal with the consequences the by golly don't do the crime. Your not gonna win this one no mater what you think is right. Leave it be and concentrate on making things better that you can. The US Military has a long and deep rooted tradition of disciplining their own and you will not even make a blip on their radar.

All rolls back to Personal responsibility. I served. Been there done that. Why don't you try it. Our military always need's good quality people.

Video monitoring has never stopped someone from offing themselves. What is the response time of a guard having to transverse a few locked doors.

Many people commit suicide even after the Dr said they were good to go. Want to take that chance? I'm sure the military doesn't. Just imagine if they took him off and he goes and does it. Make them look bad right. It's a catch 22 he knew what the law was and rolled the dice anyway. You will get no sympathy from any one with half a brain.

This I will agree with it's the most horrendous thing to ever come out of congress. But knee jerk reactions always adhere to the laws of unintended consequences.

If he didn't take that then he's either dumber than a rock or their is no connection to Assange other than dumping the documents on a web site called wikileaks. which one is it. if the latter then he's got some integrity left to not just blindly admit a false hood.
