Hi Algarion, I had a brilliant time thank you as apart from being in the mountains I was visiting one of my best friends and her husband - sat in the garden one afternoon two buzzards mated directly overhead, talk about raw nature!!!!

Hi Everyone, Im just back from a break in the Scottish Highlands and just have to share the pictures with you. The heather is is in bloom and some of the hillsides look purple - it was beautiful and I found the most amazing secluded beaches. Piccies in profile for anybody not used to finding these things

I think that this whole internet communications experiment is a unique opportunity for learning how to get on with each other. Of course people have to be willing to do that or they will simply expose themselves as egomaniacs but It takes all sorts I guess.

We are so lucky to be alive in this age of expanding communication and I wonder how history will reflect our actions - this is up to us, our hands are on the control panel.

Oh Charlie, I set off in the morning for the east coast of Scotland - then in the week Im heading for the far west coast - Im so excited - gonna try to check in in the week - my little doggie is farmed out for the week - i miss him already

Well said Cenobite but my concern at the moment is that the current political climate is on the lookout for another victim - they're lookin hard and fast because things are really looming with China and his whole oil thing - its my contention that this is the reason things have been allowed to get so bad in somalia - the Chinese are there, developing the oil fields and practicing a non-interventionist policy - however - i digress

Im definitely with you on this one Class, I think the 'threat from Iran' is most certainly manufactured - the majority of the people in that country are against the politicians, same in many countries I gues. The difference is that in Iran, if they speak out, they can incur the death setence - - - - - -

Im afraid that I am one of those people who is very interested in a persons birth details before i go very far along in communications. I do not just mean the sunsign either - I actually like to know the whole chart. To me it is an essential prerequisite. It is a part of learning to listen to my inner voice

I did a project last year which had to be from an academic angle and i chose the task of writing about growing old disgracefully - this is when I came ocross the society. It was so difficult as I couldnt allow humour to prevail

The project was boring and around matters of self value - well, not exactly boring but - not as lovely as the poem
