sometimes im livid at peoples comments, I have to walk away or bring myself to their level - its not worth the effort - they only feed on others peoples reactions
I think you make a good point here. What matter if words have barbs, they are only issued by those with greater interest in ego than humility - humility is a hard earned quality - the masses are prey to ego dysfunction - on the words of the I Ching, the superior man/person walks in humility
but they cant play their game if we dont partake - if we say zilch they only have themselves to rant at - just start another thread or wait a day or two - Karma has its way of working
I really dont see the point in putting people down - if you cant say something kindly then simply dont say it, is how I see things - after all, if we say unkind things, its giving others licence to say unkind things to us - isnt it? all a bit pointless, none productive and rude methinks
