I would date a girl without seeing a photo. I usually have something stupid to say after my initial thought, but not now. It's just a date, not marriage.
I don't have high expectations about someone I want to meet. I would not meet them if they didn't have certain qualities in the 1st place. After that, I don't place any expectations on them, but want them to just be themselves. If it doesn't work out, or if I don't meet their expectations, it wasn't meant to be.
One more idea to add to your already beautiful thought Stacy. People also change over many years. Most of the time, they change for the better as they grow older and wiser. So if you find the right person, not only will you try to keep learning about who they are now, you will also learn about who they become.
