10 years together takes a while to get over, the chemistry and knowing each others nuances. I'm sure if it was a shorter spell, there may have been a cleaner break.
It's heartbreaking as they love both their parents and loved what we had together, too young to have to go through this crap. As long as we keep our bs away from them, we can make their lives the best we can.
The consistency of a healthy brain is hard. Smoking turns it into mush. The consistency of your brain is not the only thing that changes. You begin to forget things, you get distracted more easily, and your IQ drops. This is due to the direct affect of smoking on your brain. There is also an indirect affect of smoking on your brain and it is due to bad heart and lung performance.
the recent research shows you can reverse the effects smoking has on the brain by quiting.
That's it on the head, she wanted to live near her family in Sydney, we have a successful business and are paying off a home in Vic, but to give it all up and go back to renting and working for a boss for peanuts to make him rich, agh agh. Not this little monkey, we find places in our lives where things are better, we have to set roots and make a firm foundation to bring the kids up so their branches can weather the storms and can always come back to that safe base. I'm also fed up with moving from location to location, rental to rental and want the kids to stay in the same schools, not be shoved from pillar to post. The ex has to stay here in Vic 'cos of the kids as I wouldn't let her move interstate away from their dad. Funny thing is while with me, she had tripped back and forward to Sydney 5 times for a period of 4 months, since then only once for a week, seems being single means you have a house to pay rent for, kids to look after and a business you have to work in to get any income, ie: don't work - no money.
My 7 & 8yo get $20 for the week they're with me, it doesn't go very far, but they do save it up and learn all about spending what they have and saving for what they can't afford. ie: 15 weeks for the DS or 5 weeks for the $100 of toys.
We do mature as we age and we do have our own mind and life outside the clingy touchy feely stuff, but the touchy feely stuff can use up a lot of excess energy therefore that would make you healthier.
I've always believed the tax should come out of your pay after paying the Child support payments not after. Considering it saves the taxpayer through lower family tax payments, you'd think they would do it that way. With my first child, I only ever got the minimum $30 month. But hey, if you live for the child support payments, you're doing yourself and kids no favours. I just used to let it go to the bank account and at the end of the year there was $360 that you could actually buy something for the kids with. $30 doesn't even buy a kids DVD these days
I'm sure you would preffer a genuine guy who drinks, smoke, can't sit straight in bed cos' he lies so often with the sweet talk your ears long for. Well there are plenty of those types out there with the candy tongues and bs to match.
Spiteful ex's and black eyes.
