Yeah, I agree. Getting almost out of the earths athmosphere and coming down again is a might feat. I worked at Kourou some years ago and I asked an old scientist there who was retiring about going to the Mars (I was really thinking of the moon story and he knew it) through the Van Allen belts. I said I heard that the radiation would fry a human and he agreed. He said the Van Allen belts were the reason no human would go into outer space for a long time. He suggested they might someday be able to 'perturb' the Van Allen belts with a device like HAARP and slip a spacecraft out through it. He thus admitted no human went to the moon without having to admit it.
In fact you think the would have put some sort of a solar powered beacon up there wouldn't you? Or set up a telescope like Hubble? Or many other worthy scientific projects but no, they brought up golf clubs and a 'moon buggy' to spin around in!! Yeah right.
My word they really think people are stupid but then again maybe they are right. I hear one of Saddam Husseins six doubles is living in Lisdoonvarna with Elvis.
Well that's the thing about ballroom dancing, any muppet can do it with a few lessons. You may not win come dancing but you certainly hold your own at a drunken wedding.
OK thanks for that. It's effective. I suppose if people set out to be annoying they shouldn't be annoyed if people think they are annoying.... and vacuous as Jimbo says.
Another annoying thing is when someone leaves a massive space in their post. I don't even understand what that is for. Can anyone tell me because I doubt they will stop and I think I might find it less annoying if I knew what it is meant to convey.
I feel like starting another thread right next to it "You may be bored but you're also boring" but that would be just another of those annoying threads then wouldn't it.
This young lad in Jalalbad struggles with a bundle of fodder for the families animals. I can't imagine the indolent specimens of his age I see in Ireland getting so motivated.
I love a good dance but it's not easy to find a female partner even for a waltz in this country. What is your favourite? The bossa nova is mine but in the younger days I would have been a Salsa man. Any good clubs in Dublin?
A far as I know the public area immediately adjacent to your home is an acceptable area to monitor with CCTV. I wouldn't antagonise a neighbour any more than necessary if they are 'odd'. Not at this stage anyway. Stay calm and carry on.
Don't blame me if all the monkeys love the AK. It wouldn't be my choice. But I'll tell ya if I had one and some monkey was throwing down lead at my feet I would tap that one for sure.
Imagine telling your grandkids about the time you were shot in the butt running away from a monkey.... you had armed. Lol
