Actually it is quite likely that the Roman Catholic Church will 'collapse'. It is a cult and cult's generally tend to go up in a puff of smoke after seeming invincible. Take for instance the cult of the Pharoes. The Greek and Roman Pagan cults. The Mayan sun worship cult, etc, etc. They all had millions of devoted followers and then there were none.
