Baltimore Wooden Boat Festival 2011 will be taking place from Friday 27th May to Sunday 29th May. There will be three days of water and land based events. At least four of you may know Baltimore as you took the ferry to Sherkin Island from there last month. Big finger wags and tuts to all you scoundrels who signed up and didn't go! It has been duly noted in the 'very bad taste' column.
There is a buffet meal and music at Balitmore Sailing Club at 19:30hrs on Saturday 28th where Tim Severin will give a talk on the building of the Brendan.
If you have an interest in wooden boats, watching wooden boat races and wolves in naomhogs, Baltimore is the place for you this weekend. There are lots of good resaurant, bars and B&B's in Baltimore as well as lovely scenery and the chance to visit Sherkin or Cape Clear (Gaeltacht).
Look up [Baltimore Wooden Boat Festival] for the website.
It looks like you made it from an Estonian flag. But don't take fashion criticism from a guy who wore Bay City Roller tartan parallels back in the 70's
Ha ha. I think I've made my opinions on Barry Soetoro quite clear already. No plans for any meets. Was away there, did I miss the one on Sherkin Island?
It's a bit ironic so many people gave G.W. Bush such a hard time on his visit here and yet Obama who has been responsible for much more mass murder was warmly welcomed. Personally I don't like men who order bombs to be dropped on little children but that's just me.
I think the Queens visit was organise before Osama decided he was doing a European tour. I'll have to hand it to him he is one of the best con men to ever be a US president and that includes Nixon and Clinton. Well done President Barry Hussein Soetoro, you got the sheeple bleating.
RE: Alcohol
Only 4 alcoholics out of 36? There must be a lot of international voting... ha ha
