RE: who do you attract?

We can't all be Brendan O'Carroll or Syl Fox (thank God). Boom, boom! I would describe my wit as cutting rather than sarcastic although I do include a bit of sarcasm from time to time. But if you don't get it then you don't get it and that's your perception. No need to fight about it or make 'bear with sore head' remarks as open asides to other posters. That's not even sarcastic, it's just insulting and there are enough trolls about doing that already. Peace out, over and out!

RE: who do you attract?

There's an idea. But I just hate those little yellow besterds! Grrrrre!

RE: who do you attract?

Thanks for that D but in fact I was just making a funny aside. You can all take it as an insult if you like but that is not how it was intended. Perhaps the other comments I made that gave the impression i was a 'bear with a sore head' could also be seen as humourous comments if read differently? Sometimes perception in not reality and in this instance it most certainly is not.

RE: who do you attract?

I think you are forgetting about the DJ, the garter and the Facebook pics.

RE: who do you attract?

Congrats, that's very scientific of you.

RE: Statelet of N. Ireland

Too true Phoenix. The same could be said for all the European referendums we had in the Republic and indeed probably every election ever held in the world. Does the fact that politicians are lying curs absolve us of all responsibility for the decisions we endorsed.

RE: who are you going to vote for in this election

I think Fianna Gaelabour are doing a great job getting support for Sinn Fein by continually pointing out their 'past'. They say they carried out a massive bank robbery. Well, boo hoo. I bet people are going to be sooo disgusted with them for that.... not! So they blew up politicians and other administrators of a corrupt system. Once again, boo hoo. In revolutionary times you don't try to discredit your enemy by calling them revolutionary while putting yourself forward as a pair of 'safe hands'; safe to continue the status quo of the old failed system. Only brain dead bigots will be attracted by that.

Am I the only person who continually hears it said that politicans should be hung? And it's not just the youth saying it.

RE: Why is it that anyone can become a politician?

While anyone can become a politician very few will make a go of it unless they are the offspring of a political dynasty or supported by the political gang of a political dynasty. Look at how many 'outsiders' sit in the Oireachtas.

RE: who are you going to vote for in this election

Perhaps a political party that was enaged in killing police and politicians is not as distasteful to the youth as you might think? I wonder how many people would vote for them if they were promising to assasinate the last government? Quite a few I suspect.

RE: good rebel song. patriot game!!

I don't know man, I can't help thinking it needs a little something. Maybe Tiesto could give it a remix. I'd need to see Jedwards cover of it before I could decide. Maybe something along the lines of this FLNC ditty?

RE: how long

I've got some cheese for ya! Du petit suisse .. none of your mouldy ole Government cheddar. Ha ha

RE: Statelet of N. Ireland

In fact a vote of that sort has already taken place. It was called The Good Friday Agreement. The vast majority of northern 'nationalists' voted to become part of the United Kingdom and to relinquish the claim by the Irish Republic over what they previously said were the 'occupied' six counties. The people in the 26 counties also voted by a large majority for the partition of the island with the north becoming an undisputed part of the United Kingdom.

RE: how long

What we need is a "Stimulus Package" like Barry Soetoro (Barak Hussein Obama)gave to the Americans.

RE: how long

According to the experts I've heard talking about it we will never be able to pay it back. We will just about be able to keep up the interest payments, if things don't get any worse. The theory is that this financial crisis has been orchestrated by those that want to get their hands on our resources at bargain basement prices. You may have noticed in our deal with the IMF and EU, they have access to those same resources. That is, the states interest in companies like the ESB, Iarnrod Eireann, Aer Lingus, toll roads, waterways, dumps, etc, etc.

We may be broke but the state (us) have billions and billions in assets. They want our assets, so the best way to get those is to give us a loan we have no way of repaying. Now if only we were stupid enough to elect a bunch of traitors who would literally sell Ireland out from under us!!! Oh wait, we did, they did and we're done!

RE: Enda Maximus Kenny Gladiator speech

Oh what a party we will have! Sprintime for Edna and Ireland.

RE: Fine Fail launch their manifesto.....

Brian Cowan spotted in Tullamore Garda Barracks

RE: Enda Maximus Kenny Gladiator speech

The old Irish fascists are no laughing matter ... but they are bloody funny.

RE: Enda Maximus Kenny Gladiator speech

RE: ..

Thanks for clearing that up Nvosiris. I though I was going senile (don't get turned on bdock) thinking I had seen this thread before.

What dbock is describing is gerontophilia. Nothing wrong with fancing a fine looking older woman but to exclusively seek one out........ there is a therapy!

However if you must then try Googling terms like "Granny Date". You will get a selection of websites. It seems like you are wasting your time here.

RE: who are you going to vote for in this election

I'm so glad the Irish Taxpayer paid off the AIB debts so Sarko's gang could suck up the profits. I wonder which consortiae are waiting to buy up the other bailed out banks at a snip? More friends of the Brians?

RE: Enda Maximus Kenny Gladiator speech

Now he says he's "too busy" to take part in a debate. Who is handling this guy? FFS!

RE: Ex's

For most women it seems they can get over 'love' a lot sooner than men. It seems that when they decide it's over, it's over. It would make you wonder how real it was for them in the first place, wouldn't it. I guess that's just how they're wired.

Is it swans that mate for life? Maybe men are swans and women... well women are..... ah no, I can't say it but you know the word.

It's a bit trite to say but it takes as long as it takes. I got my heart broke when I was 20 and it didn't heal for about 20 years but that didn't stop me getting on with relationships that didn't have a full, open, giving and caring potential (gawk!).

Go ahead and have another relationship. Don't feel you are being dishonest by not being able to commit 100%. Women don't anyway, so just take the best and leave the rest. You'll survive nicely, don't worry about that

RE: MMMhhhhhh

Oh lawdy there are so many wise cracks I could make but I wouldn't want to offend the more sensitive souls. We'll just let that one fly off into the sunset.....

RE: MMMhhhhhh

Good ole Patak's, the batchelors friend. But as Phil Collins said, "you can't curry love". That reminds me of the Smiths song, "girlfriend in a korma"

RE: book of faces

When were you established? Do you mean realeased?

RE: Ears 2

Whitney had to auction off her old clothes for more rock. The most valuable part of the clothes was the coke residue.

RE: MMMhhhhhh

I know how you feel. Jayden James is on later in "Girlgasmic2". I just had a lovely bowl of mince and onions.... mmmmm. Life just doesn't get any better. Ha ha

RE: Ears 2

She's gone off down Thunder Road.

RE: Ears 2

This wittone just get barred for posting three Bruce Springsteen vids? Oh, there is a God!

RE: book of faces

Yes, this happens from time to time when they are changing servers or something. It's probably back now or if not then shortly.
