RE: A Warm Welcome

I'm assusming you mean a physicist and not some sort of psychic? But what would I know about physics, I can hardly spell the word!

RE: ATTENTION LADS!! haha

No, it's just that I'm usually washing my hair when these things are on. Lol

No, I don't drink you see, so they are not really my thang. I would sooner be climbing a mountain or something like that. Each to their own I guess.

RE: ATTENTION LADS!! haha

Oh sure you never know.

RE: A Warm Welcome

Nah, that's a fake profile. Lol!

And I'd just like to extend a warm welcome to another great forum user - me! I've been here a while now but I must say I enjoy my posts immensely. They are interesting and informative while yet containing a kernel of wit that, in a forum laced with antagonism, is very refreshing. So welcome to me ... and to LadyWasp42.

RE: Official Six Nations Thread

Full marks to Paul O'Connell for getting giant dwarf Bryan Ou Driskoll in the head! Best move of the game and you know by the head on him he really enjoyed it. Man of the Match Paul O'Connell!

RE: The Epitomy of a love song......

Ya love your Florence, don't ya? She was good on 'Other Voices' last week. Did you see her?

RE: shane mcgowan

I love the bit where his buddy tries to leave the room by walking out through a mirror! FFS!

It reminds me of this guy

RE: shane mcgowan

Shane McGowan is never in a fit state to be anywhere. He's a bloody disgrace. He makes Dustin look like a professor

RE: best love film

No Holes Barred or Airtight Granny!

RE: Last Time you've been kissed??

Yeah, and I'll do a novena for ya too. Not!
It's my nun-quartet fantasy again, the cognitive therapy didn't work.

RE: Last Time you've been kissed??

Three Hail Marys

RE: CS members Missing in action!!

Does she want you to send her the air fare?

RE: CS members Missing in action!!

That's a great chat-up line. Must jot that one down

RE: CROSBY STILLS & NASH

But you did! Why are you not lettin your freak flag fly no more Bobbie! Lol.

RE: CROSBY STILLS & NASH

Coz a Southern Man don't need him around anyhow!

Talk about coincidence; I just downloaded Crosby, Stills, Nash and Youngs 'Deja Vu' album on FLAC off Pirate Bay (my bad, sorry IRMA)and was playing 'Helpless' when I logged in to read this. Saw them in Cork so I'm not too excited about the O2. Like most of these guys they would have been a lot better 20, 30, or even 40 years ago. It's a bit sad watching your rock heroes battling with arthritis as they try to make the chords. Not really Woodstock! That said, I am looking forward to (what is left of) Lynyrd Skynyrd in a couple of weeks at the O2.

For Neil Young

RE: New 2 this site

Awwww thanks for all the hugs and kisses Ella. Bisous a toi aussi teddybear teddybear

RE: is anchorman the funniest film ever?

Bob Funk. Funny, tragic and a lesson for all us older guys

RE: New 2 this site

You've been talking to Ella too long, that was waaay too close to the way she writes, especially later in the night .... about half past the nine o'glass.

Trevor Sargent Resigns

You are correct. While he acted unlawfully there is no penalty so he will not face criminal prosecution.

RE: Natural Disasters

Hey, I was only reporting the data. Disasters are down! I know that is a disaster for the Climate bedwetters but there you have it. You should be happy about that? And yet you seem a little tetchy

RE: RIP Eugene Lambert

He was a nice old bloke and those of us 'of a certain age' will remember Wanderly Wagon and the magical world he created for us.

Bosco was in fact voiced by Miriam Lambert and Paula Lambert.

Eugene will surely find a magical world on the other side of the Magic Door

Knock knock, open wide,
see what's on the other side,

Knock knock, any more,
come with me through the Magic Door.

Trevor Sargent Resigns

Green Party Junior Minister for Agriculture Trevor Sargent has resigned after he attempted to prevent the Gardai going forward with a criminal prosecution against a man who was later found guilty of a violent offence while claiming to have acted in a vigilante act.

He had no option but to resign as he acted illegally. Having broken the law himself he may now face criminal prosecution.

Prosecution of Offences Act, 1974, Section 6

6.—(1) ( a ) Subject to the provisions of this section it shall not be lawful to communicate with the Attorney General or an officer of the Attorney General, the Director or an officer of the Director the Acting Director, a member of the Garda Síochána or a solicitor who acts on behalf of the Attorney General in his official capacity for the Director in his official capacity, for the purpose of influencing making of a decision to withdraw or not to initiate criminal proceedings or any particular charge in criminal proceedings.

RE: Natural Disasters

In fact, contrary to the Climate bedwetters propaganda the number of natural disasters has fallen. Relax, the sky is not falling, chicken little is full of chicken sh....
