What you probably meant was not to be easily available for everyone you meet? But it should be genuine fussiness, not acted. Sure, no men like women who jump on every guy on first date hoping for eternal love ever after, but they will use them alright. We do not like clingy guys too. Self respect is attractive in both men and women.

He is an alcoholic and needs treatment. However, he has to seek it and try his best to stay sober. Some people manage it, but it is hard. I know about it because my sister has the problem. She is sober for 13 years now, but she must always be on check, because alcoholism is a life long problem. Try to get to know about alcoholism as much as possible and then decide whether you can handle this.

I would say a woman want a man whom she can respect, not necessarily who threatens her. Although some probably quite like rough power. And whatever women say, we like a man who is of higher rank than we. If he is not, we will make his life miserable! Sorry, but we all have that ancient part of brain that dictates us whom to mate with.

That may be true, but men are too. But it is the Western ideology thing, everyone's individual rights are the most important thing in the world. How can people get together when all their are preoccupied with is their rights? When it is only 'me' but not 'us'?

It is not a point that single parent is a bad person. The problem is that it is very tough life for most, mothers and children, to be without father's support. I am not talking about single fathers, there are few of them, but I imagine that their lives are not easy too. It would be great that every child had a father and mother who care about them, would not it?

Well, yes. It makes you feel very guilty and sad not being able to love them. I don't know whether men feel same way. One guy said me that he has not had his heart broken, he is the one who leaves. But for me it is more heartbreaking to leave than to be left. When someone does not love you, what can you do? It is not your fault. But when you are loved and can't find these feelings in your heart, it is real heart breaker.

Small sweet thing would not hurt. It gives energy to digestive system to digest the food. However, if you eat sweets after green leafy vegetables or beans you can get windy. Or if your meal was high in carbohydrates you can have blood sugar spike having sweets on top of that. Usually it is after protein meal that I want some sweet and I find it no problem to have it.

I suggest that the fathers should pay instead of state. Every baby has a father, whether he wants that baby or not. Most of women do know who the father is. So, they have to be tracked down and made accountable. There should be more stringent laws about this. It is not solely woman's responsibility, the man has to take responsibility too. There were two making that baby, no?

Oh, they did. But it is not about the past now, it is about future. There are no perfect solutions in politics, the question is which is the least of evils. For most not so big nations go-it-alone way is not an option, at least not at the moment. I just wonder which way will Ireland chose?

Some of this is true, but life was not that rosy though. Education was good, people enjoyed cultural activities, there was access to healthcare for everyone, true. The attitude to communist party leaders was not to take them seriously. They were main target for jokes, do you remember? But there was crime and the party functioneers were taking good advantage of their positions to enrich themselves. We could not travel and we did not have nice things, life was quite gray, and we wanted more freedom. The system was corrupt and collapsed. But what we got instead, capitalism is collapsing too. It is also corrupt. God knows how things will turn out in the future, lets hope for best, but prepare for worst!

Well, may be bad peace is better than grand war? Everything has its price and as somebody from a small nation (Latvia) I am very well aware of these costs.

I was in toy store today looking for presents for my nephews. All made in China! In the end I decided not to by anything but rather bring them to theatre as a Christmas gift. What is the use of all these toys and gadgets, they play few days with them and then they are forgotten and just litter the space. We should really think what we need before buying, and may be we don't need most of these things.

Well, Russian food is much more than borscht and Bulgarian food is very healthy too, just think of yogurt. They have the real one. Russian women are good cooks. But Dutch apple cake also smells good!
