I've played around with the idea of a DR 650 or KLR 650 - liked the idea of a big thumper (okay, waiting for people to chime in on that term). I'm primarily a street rider, and the aforementioned Suzuki to be replaced is a Bandit 1200 - so might be thinking of something with some poke (okay, here we go again).
I've got the sportbike thing sorta covered. Thinking along the lines of an adventure bike...maybe a 'Zook DL 1000 (aka V-Strom). Shopping will cure the broken heart methinks...
It's been a love affair lasting almost for years, but I've come to the conclusion that it is time to move on. My interests have changed, and we're not spending as much time together as we used to. This is going to pain me a great deal, and will definitely need some CS shoulders to cry on in the next week or so.
No, it does not make sense at all - and strikes me as a quick route back to being single. It's an apples and oranges thing - don't try to bake your new orange into a pie. Or something like that.
RE: Being proud of yourself!
Outstanding. And very true.
