Thanks uptall, we all are very much aware of what happened. I am appalled as to what happens in East Germany and hope that the NSA will never get enough votes there to get into Government. So far no right wing party is in Government and that should stay that way in Germany.
chris, I talked to my parents about it. They were small but they can remember some things. The bigger picture was drilled into us in school.
I saw enough posts of you and you are simply a hater and nothing what I say will get through to you.
Btw, if you are planning to send me private hate mail as you did with another German poster, you can save your time as you won't get through my filters.
News: 71 refugees found dead in abandoned truck in Austria.
Austrian authorities say three people have been arrested in Hungary after the bodies of 71 refugees were found in a truck abandoned on a motorway.
Police had originally put the death toll at between 20 and 50 after the truck was found on Thursday, but Austrian officials revised the figure upwards on Friday.
Speaking at a press conference in Eisenstadt, Austrian police official Hans Peter Doskozil said the dead comprised 59 men, 8 women and four children, including a young infant.
He said it was likely that those in the truck suffocated.
I don't live in Germany for the last 10 years and have seen that the country is not as "rich" as it was. Less road maintenance, low social welfare, families getting help from private organisations with affordable groceries etc.
There is no point in weighing anything up - thousands of refugees are on the way to Germany, no matter what Germany does or wants. Not everyone is happy about this, there are people not living the high life and it is putting more pressure on social services in Germany.
The fact remain that lots of refugees will arrive and that they have to be accommodated somehow. I see FB posts from Germany about asking for goods for the refugees, volunteers are helping to set up emergency accommodation and a lot of VIP's speaking up on behalf of the refugees.
Germany has no choice and is trying to deal with it as good as they can.
Below is your statement which is fairly out of order.
The motivation is to reduce red tape to be able to help refugees quicker. So if it's Germany it has to be a hidden motivation?
Germany has a big percentage of migrants already and it is inevitable that a lot of these refugees are trying to get to Germany. Comments I heard from other countries about "letting them drown" etc. are not popular in Germany.
So reducing red tape to make the refugee process for suffering victims of war no sense because it is Germany that does it or because the refugees are Muslims?
If it is a relationship and I have been with someone a long time, talking face to face would be the decent option for me.
If I met someone only for one or a few dates, realised I don't want to see him again and maybe even know there could be hassle or a scene, I would wait if he makes contact (sometimes it's a mutual that there is no interest). If he asks for another date by text, I would reply politely that I can't see it going anywhere and wish him best of luck.
Syrian refugees, who applied for asylum in Germany, should not be send back to the other EU countries where they were registered first. This is a new guideline of the German Ministry for Migration and Refugees. Procedure for granting the right of asylum which were started in another EU country and aren’t finished, should be finalised in Germany. This hasn’t been formalised officially yet.
Mediterranean countries are overwhelmed with the amount of refugees and seeing that most refugees want to go to North Europe (and Greece and Italy are not registering all of them anyway) are just send them on their way.
There is something called the “Dublin procedure” that a refugee registration should only be done in one country. Not using this procedure will relieve the countries where refugees enter the EU first, and it cuts down on the time consuming methods of verification when refugees arrive in Germany.
I know some people with eating disorders and some good doctors.
I do listen to my body, but I do regularly do check ups. Looking at that photo of yours, I would advise you to go and see a good doctor someone recommended to you.
On jealousy, it's a feeling that can come up. My thinking is that I wouldn't be with someone I couldn't trust. I do make sure that I don't give my partner a reason to be jealous and do expect the same. If someone would try to play games with making me jealous, he would be out of the door. Never had this happening with a partner, but met a good few guys who are into that kind of stuff and hit the road running.
