no to murder.( even in the form of capital punishment. )
people who murder obviously are in a sick state of mind when they are carrying out the act. it is not a sane nor normal thing to do.
as fellow humans we should care for the sick ,not harm them or try to imitate them by murdering them.
it is necessary to keep them locked up in a safe environment for the protection of the public. as healthy fellow human beings , we need to realise its a case of there but for the grace of god go I. (or nature and nurture if you will) and treat them humanely.
its sicking to read of all the wrong reasons that some people put forward when considering whether the death penalty should be in place or not. ...ie, money , study them , revenge, etc . when the reason for caring for others is because they are fellow human beings . (albeit ill)
sometimes folk get confused regards the illness of others because crazy and sane features reside within them. they can be clever n smart n high i.q. etc, similar to psychopaths ...but then the illness pops out and the crime occurs. some folk like to point to the clever traits of offenders , who can act n deceive n manipulate etc...and use that to say that the offenders are sane n not crazy. well folks are wrong about that because when people are carrying out horrific and vile crimes ….at that time the crazy aspect of themselves have popped out and crossed that line from sane to mad .
I recall watching a programme on ted bundy onetime,...and yes he was on the one hand quiet clever , but on the other obviously very ill guy.
people who carry out horrendous and vile crimes are obviously suffering from some kind of mental illness. these people should be kept institutionalised so that they cant harm others in society.
while in detention they should be treated humanely.

an offenders crime should not be used as an excuse or a basis for others to commit more offenses or act in a similarly vile manner. its also an insult to victims of crime to say that one is going to act in a vile , violent , revengeful manner in their name . i.m.h.o.
just goes to show that guy and church are heartless n cruel liars who have no idea what prayer is , or what it is for. hope they never set foot on irish soil.
i think there should be a national database set up by gov , on established fact on many matters, backed up with ample evidence ...like all the media footage and testimony of victims and others re holocaust. then people / churches who preach that it never happened should be prosecuted by the state.
it just one measure that could be taken to make them accountable for their speech n actions. law should be able to lock them up and close down their so called church. before they put such rubbish into the minds of children or even gullible adults. their doctrine is akin to incitement of hatred...imho.
