what funny kind of spam do folks here get. ?

last week I was selling an item on done deal. a guy claiming to be from America sent msg to say that he was so interested in the item that he would give me 3 times the price I was asking for it. laugh

then he basically wanted to send me cheque even of greater value than that again. he wanted me to cash the cheque,... take my cut,...and send him back the change. laugh

when the item was paid for , he would then tell me where to send it ...as he was moving address and hadn't that bit sorted out yet. rolling on the floor laughing

I deleted that one.laugh

RE: The arguments for and against the death penalty.

no.

if they were in a sane state of mind before the crime then obviously they wouldn't do it.

they are equally crazy after.

………………………………………………………..

unfortunately regards the death penalty …..there are people who are harbouring violent and vile tendencies other than the offender ,and ready to step over the line and commit murder themselves. some are prepared to commit even more vile acts as is evident in the horrific things they say should happen to offenders as forms of punishment. it is indeed a fine line between sanity and madness that can dwell within.. some people are just on the cliff edge. all they need to be pushed over is for some nutcase to commit a horrific crime . the next thing you know is that they are in the zone of committing vile acts themselves. . they will then claim that they were in sane states of mind and give their mad excuses. ie...I done crime n vile things because somebody else did. . well 2 wrongs will never make a right . it easy to spot those on the cliff edge, hopefully they will reign in those destructive thoughts before they end up as offenders themselves. its sad when a state sanctions murder , others carry it out, and others bay for more of it or worse.

I sincerely hope that people wont be literally driven crazy themselves by the crimes of others.

RE: The arguments for and against the death penalty.

the sick aspect of the person pops its head up when they commit the crime. the cross the fine line from sanity to crazy.

sick people are ill not just stupid or unaware . the illness co exist alongside other perfect functioning traits.

its like the horror of 9/11. the nutcases can make their way from a to be, fly planes etc. they are not stupid. they can plan things. this aspect of their brain is still functioning in addition to their mad side. they know that it is wrong to murder all those innocent people , but they do it anyway.

its similar to a psychopath . they can plan a crime , know it is wrong. that is evident in their planning. they plan to try to evade capture. they are very clever , very aware, not stupid by any means. but, nevertheless , they are very ill people. it is evident in the crimes carried out when the crazy aspect of themselves come to the fore. they know that there are risks involved and that they might get caught, and so they plan their crimes to try to evade capture.

some get caught eventually , unfortunately some never get caught. others may get caught for one crime but not for a host of others . unfortunately there are many victims of mad people out there who have never been found or their attackers identified. this is because these killers are not just stupid....but they are certainly ill.

some people like to falsely believe that madness cannot exist within the brain alongside sane aspects. they like to look at and point out how offenders plan and know what they are doing. they then fail to see the mad side of the person who may have murdered and done vile things to victims. its like they have tunnel vision and see only one side of the person.

perhaps they are blinded by the shock, horrer or vileness of the crime. perhaps by desire for revenge. perhaps anger blinds them and their desire to be violent themselves come to the fore. it may be many things that pulls the wool over their eyes.

but one thing is for certain , its not sane or normal to carry out horrific and vile crimes. to say that it is the actions of a healthy mind is nonsensical and ignorant.

RE: The arguments for and against the death penalty.

hi :) wave

regards....the act of planning eliminates mental illness .

if a person tells you that they plan to drive somewhere to kill a number of random people in a shopping centre. …………………..do you say ….. that sounds like a very sane thing to do. ???

or do you say...………..that's crazy. ???

RE: The arguments for and against the death penalty.

I have read the link.

they mention the guy premeditation, driving there, plotting, etc ,shooting down people, ..sane people don't do that.

just because the psychologists/psychiatrists don't agree or know what specific label to put on it for their diagnostic manual does not mean a person in that state of mind is sane. just because the deluded person thinks their sane does not mean that they are sane .. the fact that mental health services can not predict their behaviour or prevent it does not mean that these offenders are sane.

it utter nonsense to suggest that carrying out horrific crimes like this is an example of sanity.

terribly irresponsible to be putting out message like this in articles to the nation / world ....young generations ….that such horrific behaviour is sane. i.m.h.o..

………………………………………………..

by the way such offenders are responsible for their crimes in the sense that they committed them.

RE: The arguments for and against the death penalty.

committing murder and other vile crimes …. would be a crazy definition of sanity.

that determines it.

regards death penalty for or against, ….that's the kind of crime committed.

RE: The arguments for and against the death penalty.

hi :)
prison should not be about punishing mentally ill people.
