a couple of days ago i stumbled across a thread written by a woman whose name i cant recall. she was born in england , lives and loves her country.. ireland . she was responding to thread that was putting ireland down etc.
anyway she wrote a little regards history of ireland . inluding various oppressions under brit rule. how we had our lands, language , religion , lives, culture denied us etc. but not in exactly those words. but, that was the gist of it.
i would like to read what she said again. :)
however.....i cant recall what the thread was in the forums. and i cant recall her name.

adult relationships should be about happiness together, not age. if being with partner makes you happy for a second,. minute, hour , days, years....then go for it. give thanks n praise for happy times together, when the end comes. we are all mere mortals.
don't listen to those who say coupes should be of a specific age . theres no magic formula re numbers or interests that guarantee success either way. don't be pressured by society to fence yourself in when it comes to love.
don't need anyone to say what need to have in common to love somebody. a loving feeling would do it . only can know that oneself.
I believe without a doubt what your mother saw was real. she had a glimse of the next life. I know because I had similar o.b.e. many years ago as a teen.
as for scientific explanation,...its really irrelevant what ones physiology is at time. or brain chemistry etc.
for example,...its like saying if a persons physiology is a certain way then they can perceive a rose. so, maybe its beauty releases endorphins etc and then they feel happy, maybe europhic...lol then , science conclude ...it because of physiology, or oxygen levels, or chemicals etc ...that person saw the flower. lol
however, they assume rose not exist otherwise. when it obviously there anyway growing in the garden. even if the person and their chemistry never existed.
science is usefull in its own context for stuff no doubt.
believe me there is a world outside of science, which it will never explain or understand. both in this world, and the next.
ironically,....each new scientific discovery unveils the depths of its ignorance. revealing stuff it previously knew nothing about.
but, yes science has its uses within its boundaries.

how in the current climate can so many people vote to waste taxpayers money on this toothless tiger called the seanad...unreal.#
and people complain about government wasting taxpayers money ..lol and then a big no vote to continue with this practice.,,how ironic.
i hope common sense comes to the fore and prevails,and in the end of the day that this wastefull chamber is abolished. the funds saved could be put to better use in so many ways.
is this just a kickback against the government??? at all costs.
