like manc i believe if it starts out white hot fast burnout is inevitable
but yeah because there are so many of these crazies out there when you share some genuine feeling or interest with someone i think they hear it exaggerated in their heads sometimes because of being exposed to these crazies
also i think once in a while ya run into someone who only wanted to play or have a pseudo relationship so when any talk of actually meeting begins they freak out
thank goodness for friends and their ears and hearts
i agree that it cannot w/o time and true contact-in person
everytime one of these threads comes up that is the general consensus yet when people chat a bit or meet right away and decide "this is it" people on these sites always run over in droves and cheer for them??
i think it would be more constructive if we were more quiet about it especially since when a thread like this comes up most people say no
