Certain parts of Spain and the Spanish islands get thousands of loud mouthed drunken yobs visiting every year but it doesn't mean that all those visiting from the UK are the same.
I have a photo, but unless I meet someone in person, how do they know it is me? How do they know my profile is truthful and correct? I might not live in where I say I live. I might not be single. There is nothing wrong with asking for a photo should there be an interest from both parties after some correspondence. Some people may have malicious ex's. There are numerous reasons.
