Of course it would have to be part of it, working with these countries. I wasn't suggesting they had gun boats outside the harbours and blow up anything that moves. I didn't think I needed to explain that. I thought my statement suggesting positive action within the countries and Europe working with them explained it, but obviously not. I will leave it at that and go and play elsewhere
I would like to see positive action taken within the countries the immigrants are coming from. Greedy people are taking money off these people and sending them out in boats that are not sea worthy and putting there lives at risk without a care. Perhaps the European countries can work with these countries to stop it and save many lives.
Hi Guz. The problem with any sort of gas, if you used in confined areas even the officer can be affected. Outside, any slight breeze can also have the same affect. The officer also has to be close to the "offender" in order to use it which puts them in danger.
Perhaps the powers that be feel a weapon like this is preferential to an officer trying to deal with an extremely violent person opening fire with a revolver. Bearing in mind that in a shopping mall, bus station ect that opening fire can result in innocent people getting hurt. Using such a weapon as you have mentioned will subdue the offender allowing the officer to restrain him.
