For all those that enjoy Christmas I am pleased for them and I hope they have a great time. As for me, like many, being alone, it does lose its impact and I personally do not celebrate it. If I had a partner in life then I would see it as another day to spoil her.
I wish I could define romance. I have never been in love and I cannot find anyone to love me. I am doomed to wander the dark corridors of loneliness until the grim reaper calls for me.
I went to two boarding schools and I was expelled from one, and I got canned on a very regular basis. Did it do me any harm? No. Do I believe in it now? No. I think for some children the effect of being shipped of to boarding school has more of an effect than being caned.
