I think you are referring to my post regarding fighting for my country, and I stand by it. It is not bravado as I have worked in countries during conflict, numerous times. My point was that the males who are leaving these countries should be fighting for there country and families, not leaving it to others, including Muslims, but they wont because of what they can get in a western country.
Okay, lets say that tomorrow every western country closes its borders and no more Muslims are allowed in. What do the countries do with the millions of Muslims already in the west? Including those that have lived in the west for generations. Round every Muslim up and ship them out? Best of luck with that one! The "problem" will not go away. Both cultures are and will always be so far removed from each other, and the current crisis only fuels the differences. What is the answer? I have no idea.
If a poor person shares there last piece of bread with someone in need then that is kindness. Because someone is running for presidency it doesn't make the millions they give away any more charitable.
Putting all the other issues aside, I agree with you and I would like to see the "moderate" Muslims openly condemn these acts of terrorism which are causing havoc and death in countries that have welcomed them. When all said and done there religion is being torn apart by the fanatics, horrendous acts against other Muslims by ISIS are taking place around the world, yet they remain silent. I would like to see all these young and fit men return to there country and fight for it, along side other Muslims that are giving there lives to rid there country of this tyranny. I know I would and I am sure many others like me would.
It is indeed a beautiful country, and made even more so by the people. I was in Madrid a few weeks ago, in the Opera district! Also in the "Arty area". Toledo, Cordoba, Granada and the list of beautiful places to visit goes on! The prices are still excellent here and I never feel "ripped off". I have just done a 2000km round trip on my motorbike, up into the Pyrenees and the price difference between the Spanish side and the French side was very obvious! Spain being much cheaper. I booked a suite in a 4 star hotel, with breakfast and underground parking, 3 nights, 156 Euros! Come back some day!
If you feel a chemistry, a bond, an excitement, a purpose and when speaking you are on the same wave length then why not? I wouldn't discount it with the right woman. Even if it doesn't work out, you have both experienced some magical moments. Good luck to you both.
