U.S films in particular fall into this trap, even different types coming together in the end! every film has the same stereotypes, for example, that really horrid film about the kids in detention 'the breakfast club', you have the prissy goody two shoes princess, the sports jock, the geek, the weird girl(dressed in black) & the rebel, o.k? then you have a horror film 'faculty', exactly the same except the extra girl happens to be an alien! GIVE ME STRENGTH!
